Audacity Record Computer Audio Window

I have used this turntable along with the Audacity program installed on my computer to record about 70 albums. Since I could not find this turntable with a USB cable (due to it being out of stock) I used a patch cord between the turntable and the stereo input jack on the back of the computer tower. I would rate the sound quality as very good- I do not notice any difference between the Audacity files and my music CDs. The start and stop buttons on the turntable are a nice feature when recording. I highly recommend this product!

... a project I've been putting off for years is now coming to fruition, and it's all thanks to this little device. I bought it because my receiver did not have a dedicated phono input. With the USB output, I can digitize my records and sizable cassette collection. I can also record audio from VHS tapes, and with a little digital magic (noise reduction, EQ and volume boost) I can make everything sound almost as good as if they were recorded from digital sources. Forget the included software, and download the latest version of Audacity. Once you plug this device in, open Audacity and it will recognize this device as a source, then record away to your heart's content.

I have been recording my record collection using the ART USB Phone Plus Preamp with USB and Audacity software. It is working well. I particularly like the solid construction and easy to use controls.

I bought this microphone to record songs with my friends. It's worked out great so far. I use it with Audacity. It's intuitive to use, and since it's a USB microphone, it doesn't use phantom power, which was a plus for me. There are four different recording settings, but if you leave it on default, it works fine, too.

I use this cable to record audio from my computer to cassette tape. This cable feels substantial like a piece of professional recording equipment. No cons that I can see.

I bought this to connect my 3 Pocket Operators to my computer (MBP) so that I could record and stream good audio instead of picking it from the internal speakers of the Pocket Operator. Everyone I asked tried to sell me the Focusrite Scarlet ($$$) even though I told them specifically that I only needed one input and I don't need anything fancy. If all you need is to get good audio into your computer without all the jibber jabber, this is for you.

Considering the price, this mic does the job. I'm recarding audio podcasts so with the USB, I record directly on my computer and with the XLR, I can plug it in my Zoom audio recorder.

I use this microphone for audio podcasts and have found the quality to be excellent. I directly record into GarageBand on my MAC. The connection to the computer was as simple as plugging in any USB device and was up and running in seconds. The quality for this price made this an excellent purchase. I bought a pop filter and stand to go with it to make a great combo.
