Audio Bluetooth Transmitter For Older Receiver

2024-07-04 07:23:14

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product.

Highly versatile and compact Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter with built-in DAC. It has separate optical input and outputs and a dual-use coax line. The Bluetooth connectivity is solid but it might take a few tries with older Bluetooth equipment. Once you're connected, it stays connected. Highly recommended!

I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear.

I bought this transmitter to replace one I lost many years ago. It is works like it always did even with the older receiver. A good fit for my Panasonic TM900. This little set up is right for the price. You can spend a lot more for the same results as the Azden. I don't know what took me so long to replace it.

Beyond the strong quality of the devices (well built) and sound input, these mics are extremely easy to use and versatile. You can hook these up to just about anything and receive clear wireless audio. There are no advanced configurations or complicated instructions - simply turn on receiver and transmitter(s), sync transmitter(s) to receiver, set desired input levels (buttons on side) on receiver, plug audio and lavalier cable(s) (or use built-in mic) into your camera and transmitter(s) and viola! The technology is well worth the price.

I do a ton of work for podcasts, interviews and I just started to get into content creation. I have used other wireless systems in the past but they were always bulky and took up a lot of space in my bags. When I first opened the box and the case I was blown away at the actual compactness of the transmitters and receiver. The premium feel of the carrying case, charging case and the two transmitters and receiver were a welcomed sigh of relief that these were robust enough for long term wear and tear usage. I thought to myself there was no way that this was going to sound as good as the bigger lav systems and I can honestly say that I was totally wrong! The first thing I did when I took a transmitter and receiver out of the case was I placed my headphones in to monitor my voice and my eyes lit up like it was Christmas Morning. It was really refreshing to hear how pristine and clear the audio was and even when I tried to make the audio clip on purpose, the technology within the transmitter seems to allow a higher ceiling for wiggle room straight out of the box without messing with any settings at all. This is great for post production for when reviewing audio tracks on the timeline to make things seamless and spending less time on levels to get things just right. There were no drop outs in audio quality from a distance and even if the transmitter and receiver happen to lose connection the recording feature and safety track are there to rescue you. The ergonomics of having magnets on the transmitter is also nice when your clients are wearing thin garments like cotton t-shirts, linen or silk and you aren't using a wired lavalier accessory. This I greatly appreciate since it is warm mainly year-round where I live. I believe that this is a great addition to my kit and will stay in my bag for a long time. Truly impressed!!!

For a beginner in needing/wanting a wireless system to record audio, this is the cat's meow! Super easy to use, very versatile and reliable. I like the fact it comes with two (2) transmitters, but the kit is more expensive because of this than the original version which only had one (1) transmitter. Quick to setup and start recording. Basically turn on the transmitter(s) and receiver, plug the receiver into your DSLR camera and you have a quality audio recording system now for your video. Super easy to use and low-profile. Good battery life and units are rechargeable via USB-C connection. For an on-the-go, low-profile and quick audio recording system for your podcasts, 1 or 2-person interviews and better than basic on-camera audio for your videos, this is a GREAT system.

Simple, reliable, and solid. I havent used the audio piece but everything else has been perfect. It would help if this could use one cable between transmitter and receiver but it has worked great as it is.

I bought this to capture narration for yoga videos. So far, it's worked flawlessly. The transmitter connects instantly to the receiver and the signal has never dropped out. That said, transmitter/receiver have not been more than 12 feet apart in my usage. When plugged into a computer, the USB receiver was quickly recognized, and did not require installation of a special driver. I also used the 1/8 output jack to capture analog audio directly into a camcorder. (Note: 1/8 audio cable is NOT included.) It's nice to have the flexibility of both analog and digital capture, without additional equipment. How does it sound? For spoken-word capture, it's very good. The sound is clear and intelligible. However, I wouldn't recommend this for singers. Neither the frequency response nor the dynamic range are suited for vocal music. But that's not this device's intended application, so I can't fault it in that regard. For DIY content creators who need a to capture spoken word narration and want the convenience of a hands-free, wireless solution, I think this unit is an outstanding value.

When teamed with a BlueSENSE Bluetooth audio transmitter, I've got great sound anywhere in my house. Easy to set up and great sound with my Yamaha receiver and CD player!
