Audio Receiver Speaker Wires Humming

I went from a 5 speaker surround sound system to these speakers and they're much better. I love to getting rid of all my extra speakers wires and receiver and being able to Bluetooth to the speakers is great also.

I have a home recording studio and there is a synth (Korg 01/WFD from the 1990’s) that always gives me a slight hum noise. The humming is faintly low but enough to bother me, especially if I’m recording; for example, if I’m just playing the piano nice and mellow, instead of an entire sequencer with multi tracks in a song, I can still hear that hum. I have a small Mackie mixer, nothing fancy, but it’s very sonically clean as far as audio output. Connecting the XIT-600 in the mixer’s XLR output solved that annoyance on that particular scenario and now that hum background noise is gone and took care of 1 channel. I only have one of these. Now I need to get a second XIT-600 as I record in Stereo. I also recorded / tested the output audio from my mixer to a Tascam DR100 MKII and a professional field recorder such as the Sound Devices Mix Pre-6, which is an unit that is utilized by many boom operators to record audio in many movies. If you deal with more pronounced hum or ground looping issues, since I can’t reproduce that kind of nightmare in my studio, I can’t comment on that.  Like I said, for reasonable, typical humming issues, the XIT-600 will do just fine. But loud humming, bad cables or what have you, it could be anything causing that hum.  If the XIT-600 doesn't solve the problem, you might have to get something bigger and more expensive perhaps. Bought two for surround speakers since I really couldn't run wires across the room. Easy to set up, and there are tutorials on the Yamaha website too. Pairs nice with my Yamaha receiver, and the app makes it easy to setup and customize. And it's nice to know I can move one or both speakers to another room and play music either from my phone or receiver wirelessly. Great sound too!

I love working without wires. This transmitter and receiver work great to trigger the moonlight, which in turn triggers the two slave main lights.

I eliminated the tangle of wires behind my home theater components. This is my 3rd Sony receiver over a 30 year timeframe. They are all still working. Reliability of Sony Stuff is unparalleled! Sound quality is fantastic.

It does what it is supposed to do. This case hold my three sennheiser handheld mics (two of the G3 with the fin on the bottom and one G2). It also holds my three beltpack transmitters and my single beltpack receiver. There are two areas for wires. One holds my 2 lav mics and the other holds misc wires (1/8 to 1/8 for wireless connectivity from a laptop, xlr to 1/8 to go from mixer into transmitter, and 1/8 to xlr to go from wireless receiver into speakers. While this is not designed specifically for the sennehsier mics, they all fit and are protected. My 4 sennheiser receivers are rack mounted in another case. You will not be able to fit the 1/2 receivers in this case.

Bought this to replace surround sound receiver and all them wires. The sound is great, immersing the room in surround sound

The fit is tight on the speaker and light stands and makes it easy to keep the wires clean looking.
