The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand.

The Scarlett 18i20 Audio Interface is the best option if you're recording with multiple mics and instruments. Don't even consider anything else! I have been using Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 for many years..sadly it failed. I viewed many potential replacements....one serious contender didn’t have a separate headphone volume control....unacceptable! I’ve been aware of Focusrite’s reputation and their Gen. 3 is garnering rave reviews. I was blown away. Immediately I noticed a bump in headroom. The overall sound was more defined across all frequency ranges. Setting up this item was a breeze in my DAW. N moments I was ready to work. I have only begun to use this but I am so pleased. I am also hugely pleased with B &H. Twice, in one month, they came thru. Prices beat out known music equipment vendor prices......shipping is ‘FAST’ . B & H doesn’t mess around. They are my ‘Go To” place now for my music needs! THANK YOU!!!!!

Good audio recording for beginners.

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation.
