Love this case. They fit my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones perfectly. Nice quality. Good protection shell. Nifty pocket inside for cables. Keeps my headphones clean from dust while not using them.

Although it took me quite some time to settle on this really nice headphone set (wanted the M70x, but were $100 more & the gap is higher today), once the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x arrived, I fell in love! I guess that was the case, because until then, the only headphones I owned were those that were $30 or less in cost. This set really delivers & if I had to buy another, would do it all over again. The music & movies sounds so good, enabling Windows Sonic for Headphones provides a bit more life for some content, although not needed for all. Just try & see. Also works well plugged into the monitor, powered by the NVIDIA audio (PC) or when watching Roku Ultra or Amazon 4K Fire Stick. Even after all of my usage, these has held up great, the highs, lows & in between are all there. I believe the sound is better coming from the Roku & Fire Stick vs the PC, probably because both are newer technologies & the ATH-M50x can keep up with the times. Although this is now considered by some an 'older' model, I like to think it's a more of a time tested classic. Have been enjoying for over two years & highly recommend this headphone model. When it goes, Audio-Technica will be my first choice for replacement & B&H will be the first place I'll be looking!

I have always been a fan of audio technica and the ATH M50x surpasses all my expectations. A great set of headphones for listening to any genre of music. The work very well for movies and gaming as well. These headphones not only sound and look great but are very comfortable to wear. In my opinion they sound better than most sets that are $ - more expensive. You cannot go wrong with these.

After searching for a perfect pair of headphones for months i finally bought Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. I have looked at and tried different headphones at different local stores. The sounds that comes out of Audio-Technica ATH-M50x are amazing. These headphones sound clear and balanced, with tight bass that sounds great in any genre. Three detachable cords are more than enough for any job.

I have two pairs of these now, one I got years ago that stays at home, and a second I got to keep at work. The frequency response seems very flat, with good bass reproduction. I tend to prefer a bit less treble for listening to music, so I equalize the higher frequencies down. I used to use these to listen to music on the bus or subway or walking in Boston, and the ATH-M50x provide excellent isolation from external noise, but they no active noise cancellation. Not really needed for them, I think. Compared to a pair of open, on-ear Grado headphones I used to have, the Audio-Technicas were far better for noisy environments, and more comfortable to wear for long periods. The ATH-M50x also were more durable, as the Grados broke after a few years, with one channel cutting out. For me theATH-M50x are comfortable because the pads fit around my ears, without pinching. The band is pretty stiff with a metal support running through it, which can be massaged to be wider for those of us that have big heads. Great for audio editing and mastering too. I did have to get third party replacement pads for my older pair as I could not find official Audio-Technica replacements.

The Sony 7506's were the default standard in the film industry for decades. I didn't even consider any other. Heavy Magnets- Soft fit! Then I bought the Audio Technics ATH-M50X's. I felt like a heretic. But the reviews were too good! As an Apple ecosystem user--- the Apple Pro Max Blue Tooth seamless connectivity was hard to pass on. I mean they look so cool! Does it matter how they sound?? Laughs. But when it's all said and done, the wired ATH-M50X's are brighter in sound than the Air Pro Max, as comfy as the 7506 and more sparkling to my ears.--The Audio-Technica M50 series is superb.

The audio quality of ATH-M50x headphones exceeds my expectations. I use them for monitoring myself while playing accordion and sax. They give adequate isolation from the instrument so that I can hear very well through the microphone (with its volume turned down) placed in front of the instrument, and know what the audience would hear. They are not heavy and hold my head comfortably. I'd recommend them to a friend. In addition, B&H had an open box item that was in same as new, unopened box, so I was able to get them at a discount. And as advertised, they were same as new.

Safe to say ATH-M50x remains the best value in Monitor headphones out there to this day. Great sound. Incredible price.
