I had my doubts when I first heard about this product being used in an audiophile system but it really does clean up the Ethernet signal. I use CAT 6 cable in a fairly long run between my router and laptop and have the GREENnet Switch installed just prior to my laptop. The switch re-clocks the signal before passing it to my DAC thereby improving the resolution that my DAC is able to extract. Give it a try. It's one of the cheapest tweaks available in audio! 5 |

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I can't believe how many things I have plugged in to it and then only one cable to my laptop. Ethernet, 4k 60Hz display, Logitech stream cam, and 100W PD all over one thunderbolt 4 cable. I have read that this gets really hot, but I think warm is a better description, and it depends on what you have plugged in I guess. It isn't small, but if you can tuck it away somewhere it won't be an eye-sore. The power brick is also quite big, but it's 135W so that's expected. The thunderbolt 4 cable it comes with feels high quality. No complaints so far, everything was plug and play on a laptop with a Tiger-Lake CPU. 5 |
