Audiophile Instrumental Music

It's a beautiful experience listening to deep bass or instrumental music. Call quality is great too and they ares super comfotrable for wearing 2-3hr at a stretch. There are way too many features that I could not test. The connectivity to multiple devices is not very intuitive (TBH I have not seen the tutorial included in the app so it's partially my mistake) Overall, highly recommended.

I listen to classical music and acoustic modern jazzy music (97% instrumental). These headphones sound natural and feel comfortable on my head. If you like the K701 then these are much better. NOTE: They are not bassy; i.e. bass is neutral.

I have spent my life listening to music but have struggled recently with finding the right audio solution. I'm no audiophile but have spent thousands chasing the right audio product, particularly as I have moved over to streaming. So many devices try to do everything but tend not to do anything well. The 5 is clearly designed for music reproduction first and always. Fantastic! I am listening more than ever and enjoying every second. Nuanced, powerful, subtle.... It's all there. My only problem is I now want a second for full stereo imaging. Don't get me wrong, I don't need it, but I really want it to enjoy even more. Couldn't be happier. Doesn't hurt that's it's not too ugly either....

I am not an audiophile... But I do understand that the built-in speakers were not cutting the bacon. The speakers where an easy upgrade to my Roku TV. I watch all my movies, and even some music. I need to take the time to find where I can change the default music app to opens when you request a song.

Great little addition to any instrumental setting

The sound is amazing. Not an audiophile but do like clean sound at higher volumes. The radio function makes listening to music/news easier by not having to connect by bluetooth. It's in our kitchen and blows the Echo away!

I've used about 400 of these for burning audiophile quality music CDs and at 24x they burn flawlessly. Easy to label with a sharpie too.

I'm no audiophile. I use these to listen to music 99% of the time. No phone calls. Sound quality is far better than expected. Earbuds battery life is roughly 5 hours. Charging case is good to recharge earbuds approximately 2x (from empty to 100%) before needing to be recharged. I left the earbuds at the office outside the charging case. The next morning (15 hours later), they still retain charge. They power off automatically when there's no connectivity to the phone.

I am by no means an audiophile but have always enjoyed music. Some how during the digital translation I lost the proper listening equipment. Once I ripped all of my CDs into flac the stereo and CD player got put away. It took me a few years to discover why I wasn't enjoying my music listening experience anymore. I was listening via poor sounds cards, crummy PC speakers and mp3s on iPods. The Audioengine D1 has freed my digital music collection and taken it to the next level. My entry into the world of audiophile equipment. Honestly, I don't have the experience at this point to judge these excellent cans against anything above this tier, but I'm already looking at getting another set of headphones (an upgrade) very soon. That's not to say I'm in any way unsatisfied with my experience with the Fidelio X2HR's. The opposite! I'm feeling so drawn now to the pursuit of better, more detailed, or different equipment because of the whole new world of audio I've discovered while the X2s peacefully melt me into complete aural bliss. It's no overstatement. I'm prone to constant multitasking, so for the past few years, my music experiences have been yoked to some form or other of work. I don't think I realized the creeping depreciation of my love and respect for good music over the years. I'm saddened now to think I let myself get to that point. But, alas, the Fidelios have redeemed me of my sin of omission and now my feet are firmly planted back on the straight and narrow, so to speak. I find myself for the first time in so many years losing track of time rediscovering (or indeed discovering) sonically superior scores on this sublime set. In all seriousness, I recently got into some higher resolution music and tried out various streaming services (Amazon Music HD was my favorite by far). There was noticeable difference on even my regular headphones and AirPods Pro. Putting these bad boys on and playing anything RedBook and above is, for me, the yet barely initiated, the best way I've ever experienced music. You feel as though you are on stage with the band. The separation is great (of course there's better), and they are not fatiguing. You can crank the volume up and up and it just sounds better and better. In sum, I want to speak directly to those thinking about getting into the audiophile lifestyle: THESE ARE THE ONES TO START WITH. I can't imagine one not being extremely satisfied with the X2HR's, so just get them now!
