Auto Adjusting Desk

About the only flaw I can think of when it comes to this flash is the lack of auto adjusting for zoom range, and lack of any manual control, but using ETTL-II, it's not hard to get it right. I guess I could say something about its durability too, because it feels cheap...but it is. This sync's up great with my XSi 450D and I added a sto-fen OM-C diffuser which really makes my shots look great. The swivel head is fantastic and I couldn't do without it. I'm sure there are some reasons to go with a better flash if you're a pro, but if you're a relative amateur and just want to get much better shots, go for it and get this flash.

This is a great product with minimal assembly. This Boom Arm is ready to go with very little to no adjusting needed depending on the mic you are using. I have a Rode Pod Mic and a Shure SM7B and both work great with no adjusting. It is great that you can mount to the side of your desk or table or use the added attachment and mount directly to the desk with a little drilling. I highly recommend.

Easy to put together, very heavy duty. Adjusting the desk up and down is no problem, simply crank the handle which takes almost no effort. One small problem was that my desk was missing an end cap for the metal brace. Not the end of the world but it does make the desk not 100% perfect, but still love the construction and will recommend.

Used for home desk top surge protection, and power interruption. The auto shutdown sounds like a great feature if you are away from you computer frequently. I can not use this, since I use Linux (ubuntu). Somewhat large to sit on top of a desk. I mounted it on the side of my desk with two shelf brackets.

Small enough to carry anywhere. May use on desk as just a heavy mount. Or use on metal surface such as auto hood or roof. I can thnk of numerous uses.

everything I needed to get good light for web conferencing. Adjusting brightness (default action of the adjusting lever) and color (press the on/off button once to switch to this mode) is totally logical, no need to even read the instructions on this thing!

Align your shot perfectly and precisely every time. Adjusting and re-adjusting a ball head several times takes just as long or longer than using this geared head, and usually requires more straightening in post production. This geared head is also much more precise for multishot panoramas. My only regret is not having tried and switched to this GD3WH sooner.

The placement of the massagers takes adjusting and getting used to, but once you do it is great!

This makes life easy when adjusting the magnification ring.

The one i got just auto focused once and that was it.
