Auto Advancing Mechanical Pencil

Great lead supply for my mechanical pencil. These are very thick and so far, not a single has broken even when I extend a bit. Very happy with these lead refills. 5 |

I was curious about this lens ever since Hasselblad announced it. I loved the idea of the smaller size and nearly silent shutter. Even though I already owned the original 45 3.5, I just recently purchased the 45P. Pros of 45p vs Orig 45... it is definitely much more quite, almost too quiet. It is nearly completely silent. It is much smaller and looks perfect on my X1DII. Some have said they find auto focus to be a little slowe, but I don't think so. In my opinion it may even be a little faster.... although the mechanical auto focus is louder. I prefer the mechanical focus as opposed to by-wire. Image quality is very similar between the two, but to my eyes it retains highlights a little better. So far I love the lens and I believe it's an overall improvement over the original 45, and at an amazing price. 5 |

There are plenty of reviews around the web on the Broadcast G2 so I won't talk much about it other than to say it's fantastic. The lens deserves its own callout though. It's fantastic! The zoom rocker works so well that you don't even notice it. If you want to go nice and slow you can do so without accidentally pressing it too far and zooming in quickly. If you want to go full bore you can and go end-to-end in ~2 seconds. The servo focus ring works well (I never use the mechanical focus ring). It's tuned well enough that I seem to hit my focus every time without overshooting. One oddity of the lens though (which is not documented). Macro mode is what gives the camera body full control over focus. When not in macro mode you can press the one-touch auto focus but the lens will immediately revert to the mechanical ring's position after auto focusing is complete. Despite its name, macro mode will still focus all the way to infinity so I just always keep my lens on macro mode. I've not noticed any obvious chromatic aberration when all the way at tele but I've also not tried to look for it either. 5 |

The control capabilities with this remote are like nothing I've seen. Advancing and cueing slides forward, backwards, setting timers, laser pointer, battery life indicator and an excellent range make this the remote to get. An additional plus is that it works flawlessly with our Mac computers as well. 5 |

Love this for my larger, heavy lenses. It adds a lot of weight to an already heavy setup. Advancing age is catching up so I can only carry it short distances. Once it is set, the balance, not having to hold the lens and not having drift on a ball head, makes it well worth it. The construction is very good, i am enjoying using the Oben G30 Gimbal Head. 5 |

I bought this as an advancing semi-pro wedding, event, sports photographer. To me, it wasn't worth the extra money for the 7D to get more fps and autofocus points. For weddings, if I can't focus on slow moving objects with 9-point AF, then I'm the one with the issue. Sensor is the same as 7D, so video is the same quality, with the added bonus of audio sensitivity control. The all right-hand controls on the back take a little time (perhaps a day) to get used to when transition from another Canon DSLR, but I think it's actually more helpful because you can memorize button positions and perform actions with camera to face. Articulating screen has actually been very helpful in wedding photography for angles I wouldn't be able to get with a fixed LCD. ISO levels are amazing. I transitions from a Rebel XT, where noise was noticeable from 400+. I shoot comfortably at ISO2000 and ISO2500 for weddings now. 5 |

My daughter's piano teacher said that she was advancing and would need a pedal. Since I didn't want to go out and buy a piano for her, I looked up my options for the keyboard she uses. At first I looked at the recommended pedal for the Casio keyboard and it just didn't look good and other sites had reviews on that pedal and most people said they were not impressed with that pedal and they are much happier with the M-audio pedal. I took a chance on it and works great with my keyboard. My daughter and her piano teacher are both pleased with it. 5 |

The technology of memory cards is advancing rapidly. This card is over four times faster than my XQD card and holds a whole lot of images. It works as designed so far. I also appreciated that it was air shipped and was received very quickly. 5 |
