Auto Charge Solar Power Bank

I got this to have a second power bank to switch out with so as to always have a charged power bank to rely on; as well, I needed one that would stand up to rain and outdoor use. Of all the power banks out there, this particular one is a no-brainer. In addition to its rugged build and weather proofing, it can be solar powered in a pinch, although I have not had a chance to test that yet. ToughTested does make an identical charger with two panels that charges as fast as plugging into the wall, but I wanted this simpler design to be able to attach to a backpack to double as a hands-free, pedestrian safety device when walking at night. The 18-light panel really lights up! The item looks exactly as pictured and it is well-built with a nice weatherproof strip that seals off the charging ports. The only caveat about this item's weatherproofing is that, although it works fine as a lamp in the rain: I would not want to actively charge something while out in the elements. In order to charge something off of this device, you need to remove the weatherproof strip to do so, effectively exposing the interior of the item when being used to charge another device. It still gets five stars, however, because the build quality, tremendously useful, weatherproof lamp, and its ability to power up via solar; there isn't another power bank out there that can do what this can do for its price. Unfortunately, I should have gotten two, because another family member saw this powerbank and snagged it faster than you can say: Say cheese! He has a twelve-mile walk to work on busy roads without sidewalks, so he's excused from absconding with it, but now I need another, LOL! So, just get two, especially if you have any gear-savvy aficionados in the house!

I use along with my own power bank to charge batteries while out shooting. Works for the LP-E6 as well as the new mirrorless H batteries, too.

I use this battery to charge my devices while on location in remote areas, and I keep the Power Bank itself charged via a solar panel at the same time (during the day, via the USB C input only port), which is is well matched with one of my panels outputs. I can simultaneously power / charge my MacBook Pro 13 via the USB C in/out port, 2 Canon LP-EN6 batteries (with Nitecore UCN2 Pro QC), my phone or a Gopro 10, though that would pretty much drain all its juice if the toys were flat to start with, so, for multi day missions, you may want more than one, or make sure you can keep up with the Solar charging... The two USB-C Ports are not the same, if you have ~40W or more of solar power, make sure to use the in/out port, else you will lose half of your available solar power if using the in only port... I made up a USB-C to 12V cigarette / car charging outlet adapter, which allowed me to charge a DJI Drone battery using a DJI car battery charger, though it may actually charge better from the solar panel directly - this system is not the most efficient solution, but I can charge at night... I also use it to supply extra power to cameras placed to run for extended periods, or for cameras with high power demand via the USB-C out. This is far lighter and more affordable per Ah than many other options, and I have had no issues, including use from rainforests with 100% humidity to below freezing conditions. Buying more before my next expedition...

Received this at a work gift exchange party in 2023. I needed something for travel and my prior charger was just too bulky. This one is slim and easy to carry. I travel frequently and I can keep this in a pocket with my phone for fast recharging. I usually travel solo and listen to my entertainment wirelessly. I have been able to charge my S23+ and Shokz Open Run/Open Run Pro headphoness each 2x to full without a recharge of the power bank. The power bank was still showing 50% charge after 2 full days. I've literally never run this thing down to zero charge while out traveling. I've got zero complaints about this one. The price point is amazing and the charge is fast. Great gift item too! I highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great power bank for when you are in an area that you are not easily hooked up to a charging station. This power bank is not to heavy and it allows me to charge my phone at least twice. We charge my girls iPads on the road with it often. They really enjoy the portability of the charging bank also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay this is a heavy power bank but it is powerful!! This has lasted me a while throughout the day unlike most power banks. I also really like how there’s two ports to charge at so you can charge multiple devices at once. For the affordability, I definitely recommend this!
