I purchased the Sol 45 to force me out of my auto focus comfort zone and to have a little fun. It did both and did so better than expected! I mounted it to a Canon R5 and went to the County Fair with a willing subject to find some magic. The focus ring has large movement for small chance so it allowed me to easily dial in to the exact spot I wanted. The results were spectacular. The blur alone added a remarkable amount of depth and motion but with the blades pushed inward, the lines create a subtle framing of the focus spot that mimics long-exposure camera-shake while the center is tack sharp. The depth delivered in black and white was more than I expected as well. I'll be ordering the wider Sol soon. 5 |

I bought this to replace another brand that only worked for about six months. Having a switch that did not force auto sensing was mandatory for me. This is the only one that I could find like this without spending hundreds of dollars. In reading some reviews it was confusing how it really worked so I called IOGEAR first. They confirmed default is not to auto switch plus they told me about software their parent company has for free that lets you configure the unit without the serial commands, so I was please with their customer support. So far it has been working very good and the switching is a lot quicker than my old one was. And of course B&H had a good price and shipped it out same day. 5 |

The photographic force within you awakens after using this camera. After a decade spent away from film, I'm back in the game. This lovely little gem is the perfect way to reinvigorate your photography! 5 |

It's always best to store your camera body sans lens when packing up to move. This prevents excess force from being put onto the camera mount which can cause damage if hit abruptly. And it also prevents dust from getting into your sensor when being stored. All Nikon camera's come with one but incase you lose it on a beach shoot near the ocean you can always grab a new one on the cheap. 5 |

All in all, a good C-stand base. As one would expect, it takes a bit of force to move the legs from the folded position to spread them out for use. Frankly, you want the legs to require some force to move into position, as they then stay in the correct position when placed. 5 |

It definitely takes some force to move it. I use two arms when placing it. But it feels very solid. Love that it included multiple mounting hardware options (the design of my desk made it impossible to use the clamp). I spent a long time thinking about what size to get. The 28 is just right for a small-ish desk if you place it on the half of the desk closest to you. I think it would have been too small if placed in the far corner (though this is a rather deep desk). 5 |

As a leading force in performing engineering forensic inspections, product evaluation and specialized training our equipment is often deployed under really harsh conditions. We mainly use Canon professional video cameras with LANC connections. We find the Libec equipment (both zoom control and the zoom and focus control combination units) not only to be excellent value for money but also capable to withstand harsh working conditions. What makes this zoom and focus control unit unique is the ease with which it can be attached to a SteadiCam arm. 5 |

Finally, I can use manual focus - much faster than trying to move the auto-focus point before shooting. 5 |
