Auto Vox Wireless Backup Camera Kit Review

These are a staple of my wedding film making kit. With auto level and backup recording at -12db it's almost a fail proof way to get crucial audio on a wedding day

Works great in situations where wireless fails. It is a perfect backup solution to my EW100 kit.

Having used a couple of different 2.4GHz wireless mic systems in the past, I wasn't expecting much from these. The first Rode Wireless GO was pretty good but failed in a couple of key areas. These, however, have performed flawlessly. I like pro audio features, and the lack of many on this kit raised my eyebrows at first, but they honestly do everything you need a TX/RX kit to do, and are super easy to select options once you figure out how. I've tried them in an RF-free area as well as a dense urban area with tons of interference, and so far, no problem. Also I love the fact that they record independent onboard audio files, which is a great backup in case the mixer or camera audio backup fails. Great product!

I wanted a backup camera and when this went on sale for under 500 dollars I picked one up...plus the 30mm and 42.5 mm lenses . This may not have the dynamic range of some higher end cameras but the still images are still really nice...if you shoot sports or action of any kind the auto focus is very quick...this is great to shoot skateboarders especially using the 4K photo...if you have this with the kit lens and are not happy I am guessing you got a bad copy of the kit lens because mine is insanely sharp

A great upgrade from the Rode Wireless Kit lav that comes with their wireless kit. Very good sound, love it!

Its been a great camera so far. Once you customize the buttons and use in full manual mode you can get tne full benifit of this little guy. Low light shooting has been adequate for events and weddings at this point. When used in full auto its great for run and gun shooting. The auto nd filter is pretty much useless though and I purchased a hoya filter kit right of the bat after having read some reviews and they were right but with the filter kit it works superb. Hopfully it has the durability of other Canon products if so they have a gem in this small package with a few minor tweaks in the coming years it will be the goto entry level pro camera for the budget start up videographers like me. Its a great all around camera and as I use it I find more and more I can do with it. Even good shallow depth of field shots are achievable admittedly not as easy as with a dslr or hi end cinema camera but witha little planning and getting used to the sweet spots its very acceptable. I am very happy with the quality and usability of this purchase.

Great camera. Great 4k video. Fast auto-focus. Sharp kit lens. Only complaint is a little hard to figure out. Still can't figure out the two auto-ISO modes.

I purchased a second Canon LP-E17 lithium battery to have as a backup battery to the one that came with my camera kit so I will have little to no future down time in the field shooting pics. So far both batteries are working flawlessly. Thank you for sending an excellent product.
