The only hit I have on this remote shutter release is the lack of battery replacement capability... That said, I have one of these units I thought was dead... So, I replaced it... After the replacement arrived, I found the operator forgot to enable the remote setting on the camera... Now I have a new one and one that is four plus years old... They both work... Perfectly... 5 |

While extenders do degrade images some, this one has very little impact. One watch out is that most cameras will only auto focus with faster lenses. 5 |

From an amateur's perspective here is my review. Watch my Youtube video using a6500 and Rokinon 35mm f2.8. 1 = worst 10 = best lens quality = 10 photo quality = 9 auto focus = 8.5 auto focus noise = 5 (bit on the noisy side, but barely) size = 10 5 |
