Cons: No speed control in automatic mode.Remote must be plugged in to work.Both easy to live with....MP-101 solved my primary panning problem. Love products that work as advertised, although speed control in automatic mode would have been nice.Includes a remote control. No need to buy a separate remote. Unit will not function if remote is not plugged in.In my experience, stationary objects (buildings, trees, parked cars, etc.) are the hardest to pan smoothly, unforgiving of panning mistakes.
