Average Face Around The World

GREAT ALL AROUND PACKAGE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first, this drive is geared toward portability and not top-end performance as most would want these days. When I say portability that goes toward travel not only in the states but around the world. It comes with 6 power adapter-style plugs so you can change out depending on where you are in the world. Not only that but it also serves as a quick USB hub so you can use different peripherals through the USB 3.0 connection the drive uses on your system. It does have flashy RGB LEDs and you can change the colors or patterns on through the software downloaded to manage the drive. The software allows you to backup, restore, or mirror your data files. If you have Razer Chroma then you can also link up your RGBs with that as well using the toolkit software. I did do a performance test to see what the real world specs were compared to seeing what was online and here are the ones I ran: IOPS 4K Read Min: 1.04 MB/Sec. Average: 7.02 MB/Sec. Max: 7.85 MB/Sec. IOPS 4K Write Min: 0.00 MB/Sec. Average: 0.76 MB/Sec. Max: 5.97 MB/Sec. IOPS 4KQD32 Read Min: 0.93 MB/Sec. Average: 26.96 MB/Sec. Max: 36.09 MB/Sec. IOPS 4KQD32 Write Min: 0.00 MB/Sec. Average: 1.30 MB/Sec. Max: 9.10 MB/Sec. IOPS 512K Write Min: 0.00 MB/Sec. Average: 36.44 MB/Sec. 1Max: 30.8 MB/Sec. My opinion but if you are a traveling gamer/media watcher/need storage on the go while going around the world or even in your own country then this is a great external hard drive for you. Easy to setup and easy to pack away.

This is a bit bigger than the average case (about 6.75 long), so it's likely to hold most drives comfortably. The extra space provides even more protection. It has a firm but bendable exterior, which is better than a brittle case since it absorbs some shock, and better than a soft case. Then the interior has soft foam on one side, and the strap holds the drive to it. In all it provides excellent protection--much better than cases with no foam. I carried it half way around the world, drove all over for three weeks (and even survived a very bad crash on the Autobahn), and never worried about my external drive. I'll be going half way around the world with it again, to the Middle East.

I am a world traveler, about 3 countries per month in average therefore I need light gear easy to carry. I was a devoted Nikon shooter but Sony changed everything for me. I have owned several sony lenses and used Nikon glass with adaptors, the 28mm is by far the best lense I have ever used on my A7s, perfect for every condition, it's versatility is aweome and not to mention the price.

This light is great at not blinding you. I'm using four of them at different angles about 44 from face. The diffuse material in the light makes a world of difference. The price is great.

These are touted as the world's best and to be frank, I expected them to be so for the money I paid. But it did not sell me just how world's best these 10x42 actually are until an unexpected, but fortunate event occured, that proved these binoculars deserving of their title. I just received them and was standing in my yard excitedly taking in first impressions and looking at treetops, when an airplane came into view in the sky above where I was not looking for it. This airplane was at cruising altitude, and rather far away. A quick focus later and to my absolute surprise, despite the slightly smoky and hazy atmosphere in the Pacific Northwest, I was able to see non other than the identifying mark of Alaska Airlines painted on the jet's rudder, which looks like a Mount Rushmore style face, and I could discern the facial features, eyes, hair, and nose, from a distance of what must have been almost 15 miles away. The image can only be described as perfectly lifelike, neither uncannily sharp nor soft. It really looks that good. These binos are profoundly stable, and very very easy to hold still. They are designed so the weight is in the back by the eyepieces, so your own forehead acts as a brace. You will not struggle to twist your hands backwards to press these to your face. When I put this on my camera, put it over my shoulder (messenger-style), and pulled my camera up to my face, all was right in the world. It slides over my clothing (and long hair) effortlessly. My shirt doesn’t get all twisted from the movement of the strap and I feel confident letting my camera hang at my side knowing I can quickly and easily pull it back up into action. I love the grey color. One does have to be sure the plate screw is firmly tightened on the bottom of the camera.
