I use 4 these cameras in my tv production studio. The image is very good. I also have Sony FX 9 and in multi cam production there is not much different in quality.. Obviously, like with any other professional camera, you will still need to do some adjustments before the show gets out. Generally, I really like the camera for this price.

Bought this for studio work with my Leica lenses, which are often too sharp for some types of portraiture--every skin pore is right there. Tried the FX 3 first, but it gives noticeable halos on specular highlights like jewelry. These are minor with the FX 1, but the desired smoothing effect of skin is still noticeable. Depending on the subject, post-processing will often still be necessary (don't expect any filter to eliminate photoshop...) but the filter helps bring the unedited image closer to target.
