This device is being used during our worship services where the worship team leader is also a vocalist. While the button is depressed, it allows the primary (A) channel, which used for his house vocal to be switched to the alternate (B) channel to communicate with the other band members privately through their in-ear monitors and prompt them during a song. This unit is solidly built with a heavy gauge metal casing. The LED lights indicate the active channel. When the momentary footswitch is depressed, the B channel is activated. There is absolutely no click or popping noise in either channel as the switching occurs. This makes for a clean, distortion-free signal. The unit comes with an adapter which could have a longer cord for our application, but we easily made it work. Overall, it fits our application perfectly.

Excellent construction on this unit from the cable to connectors. Perfect length for our application running from an iMac to a mixer.

I agonized for months about which soundbar to buy for my particular application. I wanted excellent sound and, in particular, especially clear speech to overcome ambient room noise. By enabling the speech enhancement option, it is crystal clear -- far better than I could have imagined before buying this unit. I also needed a small form factor. I mounted this unit under my 55 LG OLED TV which hangs on an articulating MantelMount above my fireplace and I had limited space to make this happen, so small size was important. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was the lack of any sort of mounting hardware. This needs to be purchased separately.
