Tested this on my GoPro Hero4 and my Samsung S5...excellent sound quality! I tested side by side with my Zoom H5 and the only difference was the mono limitation of the rode. For ENG or simply using an external Mic on smaller video devices like smartphones, this Mic will vastly improve your audio! 5 |

I use Panasonic S5 series cameras with the XLR adapter and a field monitor right next to it so standard straight xlr plugs get in the way of rotating my monitor or video light. These adapters solve that problem and work great! Highly recommend...... 5 |

During install (OR AFTER) You can set it up as a baby monitor (WE DID) -OR- security camera, to get additional targeted features. Your phone will serve as the monitor. BABY MONITOR FEATURE = AUDIO MONITORING SECURITY CAMERA FEATURE = PLAY SIREN SHARED FEATURES = SNAPSHOT, TALK, RECORD, PAN ....FEEDBACK - additionally, we would have loved to have a readout of the rooms temperature and humidity....ATTN GOOGLE USERS - When "AUDIO MONITORING" is toggled on in baby monitor mode, you are unable to use the speaking function of Google Assistant, as it (Google) states that the microphone is in use. @ECOBEEHOME #MYECOBEEHOME #COMPLIMENTARY 5 |
