I used this backpacking and camping and have it clipped to my day hiking backpack.

I got this for a 5 night 45 mile backpack trip in the High Sierra so I could get DSLR shots while hiking, not just at camp. It worked great and did not bounce around with the Nikon D750 and 18-35mm G lens I was using. It was a bit difficult to attach it to my full sized backpack strap but it did go on and then was secure for the whole trip. I was using hiking poles and the camera did not get in the way of the poleing motion. I even kept it attached while climbing over boulders on some off-trail passes. My only negative is that the sliding/snapping action did get less smooth after a few days. This could be due to tiny chips in the finish after sliding it in over and over. This is a must have for backpacking with a DSLR. I've been on lots of trips where my big camera sits in my pack all day and only gets used at camp or maybe at lunch and I have a point and shoot in my pocket for quick shots while on the move. I can now get DSLR shots while hiking and even faster than pulling a small camera or phone out of my pocket. The clip is a game changer for hiking and backpacking, the only problem is now I have even more shots to sort through.

Bought this primarily for hiking and backpacking. Was worried my backpack straps would be too thick, but PD includes a longer set of screws to accommodate thicker straps. So far I am very happy as the clip stays put and doesn't slide and I do not find my mirrorless camera flops around either, it stays in position and is very comfortable, even on a thinner strapped Camelback style pack. Definitely a great way to maintain easy access to your camera while putting miles down on the trail.

I love my Op/Tech Super Classic Strap for my camera. It's the most comfortable shoulder strap that I've worn. But when backpacking, camera straps and backpacking harnesses sometimes get in the way of each other-- especially if you have a hydration line coming out of the backpack. The nice thing about these backpack connectors is that they have the same buckles as my Op/Tech camera strap. So I can unbuckle the top half of the strap (the part that wraps around your shoulders) and buckle the camera directly to these instead. It's quick and convenient.

It can be an all around backpack for traveling, backpacking/adventure, or everyday backpack depending on your gears, for me I can easily pack my camera/film gears such as gimbals, drone, gopro, extra batteries, laptop, lenses and other essentials.

As the title suggests, this is the backpack I’ve been waiting for. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for, for backpacking multiple days in the backcountry with my camera. The camera cube it comes with holds my Z7ii, 14-24 2.8, 24-120 f4 and 70-200 2.8. That said, when doing a lot of miles in a day, I usually only bring the 14-24 and 24-120. This is definitely a niche pack in that it is for backpacking with camera gear. It shouldn’t be confused with a hiking or “outdoor” camera backpack where the focus is being able to carry just camera gear and then some odds and ends. This bag can hold your sleeping back, tent, tripod and whatever else you made need. Material feels substantial and the straps and harness feel great. Highly recommend.

I use Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy for wildlife and nature photo sales. It is a great paper that, when combined with Epson archival inks on my R2400 printer, provides brilliant color prints. I was thrilled to find 8x10 paper in a 250 sheet boxed pack that saved me lots of money. Epson should do us frequent users a favor and provide economy packs for all thier common popular photo paper sizes.

Love it! It fits everything I need, takes the weight off my back like a backpacking backpack, and it is super durable! I love it for my destination wedding photography business. I always tell people about it on my social media because it is so awesome! Don't let the price tag scare you. There's not a better bag out there. Every photographer that travels NEEDS this bag.
