Backpacking With Film Cameras

I take my cameras backcountry backpacking and I can't let the weather stop me from being ready for a good photo. This cover, combined with the Capture Clip on my backpack, made 5 days in Glacier National Park in Sept 2019 with tons of rain a total non-issue. I do wish there was a size in between the small and the medium to make using the camera easier while keeping the cover on in the rain. On a Fuji X-T2/3 it fits nice and tight... but its so perfect I found shooting with it on being challenging. However, I didn't worry about moisture on the camera at any time except in the heaviest soaking rain which only last a short while. Having the ability to photograph the changing weather in the mountains while keeping the gear dry was fantastic. 5 |

Film is film. Won't work on digital cameras. 5 |

I bought this on a whim so could bring my Pentax K1000 film camera with me on a backpacking trip. I hated using the neck strap on long hikes. This clip caught my attention. It's not very wide, so I had to find the best spot to attach it to my 40L bag. With some squeezing, I got it affixed to my backpack. I hung my Pentax off the clip for 4 days and even transferred it to my daypack. It felt snug and secure. Not once did it feel like it would fall off. I'll have to buy another one so I can carry another camera on my trip. Solid product. 5 |

This film is expensive, but B&H has some of the cheapest film for the mini Instax cameras. 5 |
