Backpacks For Camera Big Men Think Tank

I own several Think Tank backpacks and roller bags. I love them all. Each serves a different purpose depending on the kind of trip I'm taking, how much weight I can take on planes, especially local overseas flights, etc. I really like this backpack because of its dimensions. It's slightly deeper than my Think Tank Airport Essentials backpack which means I can pack several of my lenses in it vertically rather than horizontally. This gives me more room for non-camera body and lens gear, i.e., ND filters, batteries, chargers, card reader, external drives, etc. Obviously my backpack becomes heavier, but for some trips, this is better than camera gear in one bag and other gear in something else.

I got it for my Hasselblad but it would work for any camera. Its big but not like my Think Tank that is huge. For the average shoot, I do not need everything, just my camera and maybe one other lens. The top opens for your ipad and will shade the ipad. Or even a laptop.

Love the Think Tank products! But when I acquired just one more camera body my Think Tank backpack is just not big enough anymore. The quality and features are just top notch. This model has a handle and wheels and at 72, I appreciate the help transporting my load. I've never had a mechanical/design issue with my previous bag.

This is not my first Think Tank bag, and I'm happy with it.

I love the Think Tank Holster products in general. This one is not big enough for the sony with the kit lens.

Big fan of Think Tank. This new line of products is perfect for all of the random things that I travel with. Coupled with their red whips, it's an easy way to organize cables, charging blocks, adapters, and all other miscellaneous gear.

One of the best made backpacks I've had in a long time, better than the Think Tang in my opinion.

Within the last several months I have upgraded by Sony Camera system and as such started to look for an backpack to carry my camera and lenses . I own several Think Tank bags and still use them when I need to , so it was rather natural for me to go there first. Mind Shift is Think Tank’s outdoor Adventure brand. After looking at all their offerings and also looking at Lowepro’s line of camera backpacks I finally settled on the Trailscapes 18 L. Pack. It suites my requirements to a tee. It currently holds two camera bodies, , four lenses, flash unit And a host of smaller items. It is not too big, and yet holds it all. I am happy with it and recommend it for those with mirrorless systems or Apsc cameras. And for under $200 it’s a steal at BHPhoto.

I am a proponent of Think Tank products and I have the Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia Rain Cover but it is un-user friendly to place on the lens and camera plus the plastic window gets fogged up and it becomes grungy over time....so I wanted something easier and quicker to put on and also where I had more control of the camera. I found the LensCoat products and read the reviews and they are all spot on. I had the raincoat on my 1DX and 400 2.8 in less than 60 seconds. Plus the entire back is open and the camera LCD and controls are in full view and more accessible for me. I normally wear a photo vest when shooting sports and when there is a forecast of rain....it stores very nice and flat in the rear pocket....where the TT is rather bulky.
