I needed another backup hard drive for my over 1000 photos.I have had good luck with other Western Digital Hard Drives in the pass and just couldn't resist the price for this one. Using it is so simple and USB 3.0 is fast. I now have 3 copies of my work on Hard Drives stored in different buildings on my premises.... Better safe than sorry. I haven't found any negative things about this Hard Drive. Again it's so easy to use and I would highly recommend it to my friends 5 |

I bought this hard drive to use with Time Machine on my Mac. I literally just plugged it in, then the computer asked me if I wanted to use it as my Time Machine backup and I clicked yes. Presto. Done. Didn't install any software, it's just plug and play. (I had to buy a new external drive because I got a new computer and the old backup drive would be completely overwritten if I used it for Time Machine. This one is about 1/20 the size of the old. Since I work upstairs in my bedroom at night sometimes, it's nice to have an external drive that is completely portable. This way I tend to plug it in for a backup more often instead of waiting until I am downstairs again.) I actually bought an extra one for a different computer. 5 |

I need CD blanks to first backup my computer, in case of external/internal hard drive failure. And to copy/burn and to store relevant data. So I choose Verbatim because they are highly reliable and I have had success with them before. 5 |
