Backup Android Phone To Usb Flash Drive

The little drive is a very handy medium for transferring between devices, with the USB A and C always available. Plugged into my Android phone and it came right up, very accessible, and the transfer speed was almost unbelievable, a bunch of files really moved in a hurry, even gigabytes. I would rather use this option than tethering my phone to my PC. So it works well, doesn't get hot, and is amazingly small. One side has a little loop for attaching a short lanyard, which I use to help keep track of the drive. My only wish was for an LED to show activity, but the drive works very reliably.

If you have an Android smartphone, you probably use a micro-B plug to charge it. With this adapter, you can take a USB drive (thumb drive) and plug into this adapter and then into the phone. Now you can copy all those pictures from your phone onto the USB drive. I hope this helps!

The Sandisk Dual USB 3.0 / micro-USB Flash Drive is a convenient way to store files that are to be used between PCs and Android devices.  Not having to connect a cable between the PC and the Android device is a plus.  Just plug in the flash drive to move or access the file directly from the PC or device. I bought this Flash Drive as a traveling backup for my photos. Typically, I take between 100Gb and 200Gb of photos on a trip so this gives me plenty of space. The small size is ideal as is the light weight. I connected it to my MacbookPro USB-C using a Uni 4 port USB-A to USB-C hub with no problems.I ran a quick test when I received the drive and it took 2 minutes to transfer just over 15Gb (212 files) from my MacbookPro to the drive. So it's pretty fast. It took just two days to get here (Arizona) from B&H and was cheaper than buying from Amazon. So I'm a happy camper.

I'm a HUGE fan of this device....especially when used with an Android phone, which all you need is a USB A to C adapter for. If you wanna do videos or podcasts with great audio on the go...without bringing a computer...this is the way to go. Will this drive an sm7b? No....no it won't...but most dynamics it will...condensers, no problem. I just snap a klark teknik ct1 onto this thing for sm7b use...still ultra portable, and the price of both is just over a hundo. For the record....I've owned TWO Shure x2u devices....both went bad. Go with this for ultra portability. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]
