Backup Computer Before Upgrading To Windows 10

After upgrading to Windows 10 my HP computer the built-in sound card stopped working and I couldn't find a driver to work with Windows 10, this small device was simple to install, just plug the device to a USB port and installed it's own driver automatically and it was up and running in no time. I don't mind the device sticking out is just like any USB drive.

I purchased the ssd before upgrading to Windows 10 on an older computer. Unfortunately, since the computer is older I cannot vouch for this drives performance but I will say this. The Samsung software seamlessly cloned my tiny ssd to this one and the move to Windows 10 was good. If you haven't moved your operating system to an ssd yet you are missing out. Price is no longer an issue. The performance is worth it.

I use this hard drive to backup my pictures and data. It easily mounts on my Windows 10 computer at home and is easy to use.

I used this to back up my old desktop computer. It was easy to install, and I performed the backup using Windows Backup manager. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to use. I haven't had to access the backup yet, but I took a look at the files and it seems to have been a success. I'm glad to have the peace of mind.

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

I used it as a second drive for Windows 10 on my Ubuntu computer. There were no problems with the drive itself

I was using an ancient iMac (over 10 years old) and kept putting off upgrading. When I decided to go with the new iMac I immediately went to B&H. They had the computer I wanted at a price (and benefits with the PayBoo card). The computer arrived on time and it was easy to transfer all of the data from my old iMac. My new iMac integrates seamlessly with my iPad and iPhone. My hobby is bird and wildlife photography and the new iMac runs my photo processing applications quickly. I should have upgraded sooner!

Bought this to back up my PC files and create a System Image Backup for Windows 10. It works flawlessly, which is all one wants from an external USB drive. I like the case design - it has small rubber feet on the back which enables it to sit securely on my PC (or a desk) without slipping or falling.
