Responding to an overload alarm on my APC UPS CS-500, I had to remove the battery to make it stop, and discovered the battery case had split along the corner. Works with my APC Backup..

I have bought several UPS 's CS 500 and they have worked just great. They are prompt with their shipments and the products hold up great. Batteries have a long life and believe me I have made them work. Installation is easy and the products provide the service as advertised. Will continue to buy as I consider them a great product and they have protected my Computer, printer, modems etc also another one protects my DVR recorder and the 1 TB HD I installed. Good people good products.

Backup, if the LAST Hafler 500 dies.

My APC Backup unit told me through the main unit that it had a low battery for the backup unit by a red lit signal that went off every 4 seconds. I had to replace the battery to stop the beeping. When it arrived, it was well packed and had a return label for the waste disposal of the old battery. The installation of the new battery was not as difficult as getting the old battery out of the unit - it was a very tight fit. Now that it is installed, the beeping stopped and life is back to normal. YEAH!
