Saw these referenced in Grey's book on lighting. As a dog photographer, I have a hard time doing any back lit or backdrop lit work because: 1. the animal moves around 2. the animal mass is not large enough to hide the lights pointing to the backdrop, and 3. Most of the time I do both the dog handling and shooting. Flat on-the floor stands....are OK but they still peek out from behind the dog...even when using a table. Plus more light stands in the studio = more stuff for dogs to knock over!!! Luckily I have exposed rafter in my studio/barn area and these items solve a myriad of problems. 5 |
