Bad Ethernet Cable Termination

Excellent cable, excellent termination.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

Short Ethernet cable that works.

A Ethernet cable that works! And it was low cost.

I use the cable for an AVIOM A-Net system. I am very happy with the cable and termination quality. The cable coils easily and lays flat very similar to a high quality XLR cable. The ends fit a bit tight into neutrik etherncon jacks but all of my connectors are new so I expect they will wear in and and work nicely.

I got this cable to make camera-to-Shogun Flame cabling tidier than using the 10' HDMI cable I got from another source, which it does. But the unexpected benefit is that the HDMI mini jack fits my 5DMIII much more tightly than the other cable. The longer cable has a much smaller housing around the cable termination, and the connector itself doesn't seem to grab the camera's HDMI port as tightly, making securing the cable to the camera a dicey affair. The Atomos cable grabs the port snugly, and the plastic housing around the termination fits the opening around the port well, far reducing worry about the integrity and firmness of the connection. I wish it was about half the price, but I suppose it's cheaper than any of the cable lock solutions on the market, by far.

very good quality and termination, I use it for a desktop LaCie and allows me to have it away from the desktop.

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.
