Badger School Supply List

This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides.

I use it with a INTERFIT Honey Badger and Photek Softlighter, works great.

I bought my second Badger Unleashed so I can have a 2 light setup for outdoor shoots. The HSS and TTL metering will make this a great flash in any conditions. I also use these to light my backdrop in the studio because there are no wires for people to trip on. I highly recommend this studio flash.

This Badger 60W AC/DC is so bright. I honestly thought it might be too dim. I think I will use it at half power most of the time. I got it for quick pop up portraits of models or brides when you don't need much light and you don't have time to sync up some radio slave to fire a flash. It is also continuous light for filming video. Just a kicker for shooting in natural light it is perfect. I use a light weight pop up beauty dish on it.

As a user of Interfit Badger strobes, this light is a welcomed addition to my kit. It's wonderfully bright for video work and for when I need a light that won't underexpose backgrounds like strobes do. It's been excellent for shallow-DOF portraits and boudoir work, and solid for headshots where you want brighter light to contract the pupils a bit. The bi-directional power switch is a nice touch when you want to switch between battery and AC power. I have yet to encounter any flickering in video as well. Considering adding one or two more of these in the near future.

It is number 10 on my list.
