Baker Butler School Supply List

This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides.

Great Harness. Just like the Butler Creek Harness but he the attachment hardware is made especially for the Swarovski Binoculars.

I own some larger monoculars, but needed something small for hiking. This scope provides a very clear, bright image with a wide field-of-view and superb build quality. The only compromise due to the small size is the small exit pupil diameter, which practically makes no difference for daytime viewing except that it is a bit more difficult to center your eye to see the full image. Be sure to extend the eye cup to help with this if you aren't wearing glasses . The close-up lens is a great feature. I find it easy to attach/detach, but the depth of field is rather small so it is difficult to keep your tiny subjects in focus. I wanted to use this scope without the carrying case, but unfortunately Leica didn't include an objective lens cap, so I bought a Butler Creek flip-open scope cover (size 02A) which fit perfectly but was a bit longer than necessary. Being a perfectionist, I modified the Butler cover by cutting off 3mm, and now it is perfect. (I clamped an x-acto blade to a 3mm spacer on my desk then rotated the cover around and around against the blade until it cut through.) Attached is an image showing the Monovid with the modified Butler cover and the 3mm ring that I had removed from the cover. I also bought the Leica neck strap, which is overpriced but the quality seems OK and it works well for my purposes.

Superb monocular. The image is sharp and bright. I advise ordering a Butler Creek's Flip-Open Scope Cover size 02A to cover the objective.

I got this to add to my Yaegar Pro Camera Cart and specifically got it because it fits the Ronford-Baker Quick Release and I'm so happy with it. It's arguably just as good as a RBQR but for a fraction of the price. If you're unsure because you're so used to Ronford-Baker, hopefully this will put you at ease. Great quick release.

Needed for support of the Baker to Vegas event. Lasted all night with judicious use at the station. Installed the holders in my vehicle and will provide emergency requirements. Appreciated the out of box complete setup. Have changed the batteries to rechargeable packs for future use.

Everything is fine with all my stuff from B&H. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. Can't see buying from anywhere else, except the 3880 that I bought from Larry Baker and it came from you anyway.

I just climbed to the top of Mount Baker (10781 ft) in WA State. I brought my Canon EOS1DX plus 24-70mm lens. I attached the Peak Design Capture Clip V3 onto the front right strap my backpack. I used a wrench to squeeze the padding down to be able to screw both plates and sandwich the strap. Despite the weight of the camera and climbing the Roman Wall with 40% degrees incline, it always felt safely secured. Access was easy and the camera would slide in and out rapidly. The quality of this product seems excellent after a brutal mountaineering test.
