Wow, this works really well. I bought it for the band at our church. Makes it very easy for someone who plays an instrument and sings to have a decent in-ear monitor without spending a fortune. Very solid all-metal construction. Setup and use are very simple; the diagrams & labels silk-screened onto the top make it easy to see what should plug in where. As a nice additional touch, it doubles as a direct box for the instrument input. I highly recommend the optional MSC106 mic stand adapter if you're using this on stage. Only drawback is that you need a long cable or an extension for your ear monitor / headphones. If you mount this on a mic or music stand, you don't have a lot of room to move. We'll be buying a mix of these and the 1-channel PM50s to move our whole band to in-ear monitors.

We use a snake combining vocal mic, instrument mics, D.I.s, and monitor cables for each band member, running to their area of the stage from the stage digital mixer, and this product makes it easy to customize those changes and change out cables when necessary.

If anyone in your band wants more me control of their in-ear foldback for both their vocals and an instrument (or two instruments), then this is THE box for them! Ok so it costs more than the 2 channel competition, but this has the essential 3rd channel the others lack, plus an integral stereo DI box, so the total cost is much the same. What is really nice is the way it can be set for mono or stereo inputs on both the instrument channel and the main foldback. The cct diagram even contains instructions to convert the mic channel for line level inputs. A really useful box, and a much better buy in real terms than the competing products, for use by real musicians!

I was advised by one of the sales associates at B&H who was very helpful is advising me what product I needed. MY FitBit wrist band caught on an object and split, I need something to hold the band together and this was the perfect product to do the job.

easterfilms photography in Reno, Nevada needed a good strip soft box to round out our arsenal of lighting instruments and modifiers. The HalfDome 2 is the best value for the money. Solid construction and quality of light makes it a great value for the money spent. The extra mask included with the HalfDome narrows the light even more so I can paint the scene with more effect instead of washing out the shadows. No complaints except that I should have bought one sooner. This box is perfect for architecture and real estate photography. The wide spread of even lighting makes each scene pop. Don't have one? Buy one!

I have the xtr2 3-15x scr-mil and love it ... I can see bullet holes in white paper at 500yds ... none of my spotting scopes had been able to do that! I have it on .300WM ... REM700 action, criterion barrel, mcCree chassis ... usually shoot off manfrotto tripod ... I live in rural area and the grass is too high to lay down much. The illumination is great for using low power magnification and holding (I usually hold and don't crank after zeroing). Illumination not good for NV as washes out the target, but that is true regardless of the scope or illumination. We don't use illumination with NV, we do use it in the day time with the scope on low magnification, so we can see the hash marks on the reticle. It is a bit long and a bit heavy, but on the 15 pound .300WM that is not an issue.

I had purchased 2 competing brands of NV equipment but returned after dissapointing results. This one I'm keeping.

I use this NV on the Arizona Border doing Civilian Border Watches and it performs very well. I have used Gen 1,2, &3 and I really prefer the Digital. You don't have to worry about bright lights, and the black & white mode shows better detail to me. The auto IR mode works great. In 1/4 moonlight and above you can turn the IR off.

Very nice little NV device! Impressed with the IR illumination and picture clarity in pitch black darkness. Great product from Carson. I will buy another one.
