Band Instruments Houston Texas

I live in Houston, Texas. We have a really volatile power grid, Houston kind of does its own thing (Texas maintains a separate grid from the rest of the USA, which is unique). We also have a lot of hurricanes, a lot of storms, we’re right by the Gulf of Mexico and it rains a lot. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson the hard way and lost a very expensive subwoofer in the process. I finally added the PST 8 to several of my rooms (I have large, expensive surround sound systems in multiple rooms). The Furmans are great - they shut down power surges, they reduce signal noise (I now have subs that do not have ground loops even without other filtering). It’s super heavy duty, excellent build quality, and multiple 3rd parties such as Wirecutter have opened them up and electrical engineers have validated that they are built in a way that protects expensive equipment. I own four of these units and use them on all of my surround sound receivers, separate amplifiers, high end subwoofers, and Apple computers. Anywhere that there is more than $5,000 in equipment in a single area, I use them. They are great. The price compared to other units with this level of protection is such a great value too.

I am a preditor in Houston. Sometimes a one-man-band, sometimes a member of a crew, and sometimes heading up a crew, in all cases, this little Arri kit is the perfect start to a shoot. You gotta have one, and this one is it.

Recently went to Houston for 4 days and this is all I needed.

This is one of the best investments I have made. I live in Houston where the area was devastated by Harvey. Since I am too Old to go out and physically work; I am taking in photos that were damaged in the flood waters and restoring them. I used my new Carl Green machine professional rotary trimmer and it worked great. I'm so glad I bought this when I did!!!!!

I use this light as a back light for video and still photography. The great thing is because its black and no one else has black arri lights yet here in houston my lights never get mixed up with other people when working on big sets you really should get this light and set your self apart from everyone else.

I bought my first one from the original manufacturer here in Houston over 25 years ago. That one finally wore out, but I have two more that have ben in constant use almost that long. Just bought this Stealth model to replace one that has just about seen the end of its life. I like the larger casters for off-road applications, and this one seems solid and well-built. The critical wear point, where the pivot pin is inserted that lets the ends of the frame fold, looks re-engineered to last longer under the heavy use to which mine are typically subjected.
