This is my first PA subwoofer so I don't have much to realistically compare it to but I'm happy for my purposes! My use: With 2 mackie thump go's through a mixer for karaoke, backyard parties, garage band, general small portable DJ setup. I bought used and saved some money on an already good price. At first I was disappointed with the power and sound when I hooked it to my mixer via the headphone out for volume control. It turns out my cable was bad or sent a weak signal for the sub. I replaced the Cable (1/4 TRS to split balanced XLR) and now that the signal is strong and clean and the sub actually sounds GOOD and musical - so a clean strong signal will do wonders with this subwoofer and I think a little break-in period helped it loosen up and improve SQ. Also properly setting the gain staging will help maximize output. The smaller weight and size of the sub are a big factor for me; it's not that hard to move compared to the majority of other 18's. If you're looking for a monster teeth rattling single sub with power for a live band in a larger venue this might not be the sub for you but it does great for small/medium DJ applications. I will likely add another one for outdoor events or bigger venues. Overall after a few weeks of ownership I recommend it if you manage your expectations

My band got a set of these a year ago, and they perform very well. I purchased this set for larger shows my mixer has 10 aux outs. Highly recommend!!

This is a great little mixer. I use it to sub mix my stage station as a multi instrumentalist in a classic rock band. Allen & Heath makes high quality gear and the service from B & H was top notch.

I was using a camcorder to video tape a live band and wanted to bypass the camcorders built-in microphones, so I could get the audio from the bands mixer output. The mixer out was stereo male jack and the Camcorder 3.5mm. Stereo socket. This stereo Mini male to stereo 10' cable work great for me and I would recommend it if you are looking for this type of cable.

My buddy have this old mackie profx12 v1 in his home basement where we used it for band practice That i like so much. With all this Pendemic happening and social distancing been place we have not be able to practice so i decided to get one for my self so i choose to the mackie profx10v3 from B&H it was on discounted price and i also got $20 gift card for purchasing it from B&H. Like i expected to the mixer its built like a tank with the metal frame not only that it elimminate me purchasing another equipment because this mixer can also be use as midi interface connecting it to your Pc. Now not only i have a very nice mixer and also be able to practice online with my bank thanks to my Mackie proFx10v3

Use it for my band in small to medium sized rooms. I run it from the mixer (which is near me) over to a guitarist and bass player (opposite side of stage) so they can supply the mixer with there vocal mic and instrument mix/DI lines as well as get their (personal) monitor feeds. They were typically the two members furthest away and this helps cut down the jam ups at the mixer from people trying to add their mics/DIs/monitor feeds into it each show. Definitely worth the unbelievably low price offered here. I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger at a higher price since it was a matter of convenience rather than a need. But this was definitely worth it for the convenience it does provide. Very glad I did it! I love B&H and it is great how fast the stuff arrives (though I am in central NJ and they are in NYC...but still).
