Band Playing With Toy Instruments

Im just a garage band guy and have only owned a couple of toy mixers. So I cant give an expert review...But coming from the novice side. ...This is a huge step up in quality and usability from the $40 junk Ive been using.

This remote is a must have for the H4n, It allows you to set the recorder out front while you are playing (in a band) and control it without having it right next to you.

Whether you're looking to record yourself playing instruments, singing, or podcasts, the Yeti offers the best bang-for-your-buck when it comes to USB microphones. Using the microphone couldn't be more simple; just plug in the USB cable, open recording software of your choice, and in minutes you'll be recording some surprisingly clear and crisp audio. On the topic of audio quality, one must mention the top-notch audio recording capabilities of the microphone. The Yeti uses a three-capsule design which allow for a wide array of recording patterns. The audio comes out well-balanced, picks up bass well, and produces most frequencies with excellent clarity. With that said, do not expect it to be able to record CD quality audio, but for a USB mic, it sure has just about every other beat. The only con I can really think of is the Yeti's size, which might make it difficult to transport. With that said, the Yeti is very well built and features a rugged metal body and stand.

I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet

I switched to playing software instruments by midi at live music events but this is also perfect hot a DJ. I didn't need a full USB audio interface because I am not recording live audio. The box just takes digital audio via USB from my laptop, converts it to analog and sends it by ground lifted balanced outs to the PA. No noise, superb low latency with Ableton running NI plugins from a core2 duo MacBook.

This receiver does a great job of playing my 60-80 records through its Phono channel at volumes close to what I remember back then when I was playing them in a band at the clubs. Clean and accurate. My only wish for the receiver would be: 1: Not have a proprietary FM antenna My reception is a little on the week side and I always used an amplified FM antenna to pull in a lot more stations from Philly, New York and Chicago. 2: Wish it have a PreAmp Out and Amp In connections so I could add my 10 band graphic equalizer to the system to further tailor the sound output more. But all and all for the price, this is a good system hub.

Bought this for a specific purpose to record my daughters band playing on a float in a parade. Last year filmed them with GoPro attached to trailer but the audio was terrible. Found a good place to mount the H1n at the front of the trailer and let it record the whole time. Was very pleased with the sound quality that it produced which I used for the audio track of the recording. For next show (will be stationary) I plan to compare with the external mic that I use with my DSLR to record their shows.

Awesome sound either watching a movie or listening to music, it's like being in the movie or the band playing in your room

I use this megaphone for lots of things, primarily as a make-shift microphone and PA for when my band is playing pop-up acoustic shows on the street. Duct-Tape or velcro this to a mic stand and you're good to go! Great range. You can also shout out the car to promote your political campaign!

I use these headphones primarily for playing on my church's worship band. They do a really great job blocking out all of the external sound while allowing me to clearly hear my monitor mix. I also use them to listen to music while mowing. The sound quality is better than your average Apple earbuds but is nothing compared to headphones with multiple drivers. I love how these fit in my ears. It takes a few times putting them in to get the hang of it but after that, the fit is sung and I can wear these for hours with no discomfort. For anyone looking for noise isolating headphones with good sound, the Shure SE215 are a great budget choice.
