Bare Bone Computer Laptop

I previously alternated between using an Everyday Backpack 30L and a 10L sling, but wanted something somewhere between the two sizes. In steps the 15L zip to fill the void. My use-case is a daily backpack to commute to the office with either a 12.9" iPad with magic keyboard, or 14" MacBook pro, with enough room for lunch, and occasionally a change for the gym. The 15L everyday zip fills that perfectly. Both the laptop and the ipad fit in the laptop sleeve, but the fit is very tight for both - and to be fair, if you're looking for a more appropriate fit, might be best to go for the 20L, but I was dying for the bone color scheme. The weatherproofing is solid (we have both rain and light snow with regularity). The pockets and nooks are well designed. The backpack feels light and fits comfortably. It looks great in person, and the materials are premium. The padding on the shell is great, and cushions well from the bumps of daily life. If I had only one comment, it's that I wish the 20L version came in the bone color.

This is my third MultiDock; I want one by every computer. I use my MultiDocks for secondary storage, for Carbon Copy Cloner MacOS backups, and for easily moving SSD drives between my two residences. Nothing beats a bare drive toaster. The newest USB-C models are actually slower than the previous Thunderbolt models, which now require cable adapters. It is nevertheless fast, and convenience not speed is the key factor for me. The MultiDock pays for itself with the savings from buying bare SSD drives, and lets four drives share a single cable. Note that the MultiDock ships without power or USB-C cables. High-end mountain bikes ship without pedals. I laugh when people complain about this; they're just revealing that they're not serious. I love that I could use cables on hand of exactly the needed length for my setup; I hate cable clutter.

This is a very bare-bones receiver, but it's exactly what I needed as someone who exclusively listens to music either on vinyl, or via my laptop using Spotify/iTunes. I play music through two Bose 201 bookshelf speakers, and this is more than enough to power them at 100w/channel. It's an incredible price, and a great receiver for those of us who like keeping it simple.

This is my first bone conducting headphone purchase. The AfterShokz OpenMove Wireless Bone Conducting Headphone is light weight and actually stays in place while I exercise. My initial concern was that it might give me a headache from nesting against my ear but it turns out I often forget that I have them on me. The noise canceling feature during phone calls work very well plus the sound quality is great for what I'm using it for. I'm happy with my purchase.

I enjoy being able to control my laptop computer from a comfortable distance!
