If you are looking for independence, and work everytime more alone as a writer for making films, this is really great, noble, easy to use. It's sounds just great. And it becomes a sound brain also for postproduction sketches and in some cases for sure to finish some kind of work. Of course is not the same as having an artist/technitian, but if you want to work alone is a great tool not to sacrifice quality. 5 |

I purchased two of these Atlas desk stands recently for a less than noble reason: I'm rotating some of my mic's out of the mic locker to put them on display for a week or two at a time at my remodeled studio. Just for a little visual aesthetics and eye candy for clients to take in. The DS-5E is a very simple but effective desk stand. If you're remotely concerned it won't be high enough (fixed 5 height), then take a look at the Atlas DS-7E (adjustable 8 to 13 height) instead. I remember playing in garage bands back in the 60's and all we had were Atlas mic stands. Atlas has always made a quality product you can rely on. Some things never change. 5 |

Precision and bass for multichannel movies but not really for listen music like jazz or classics. Best benefit is easy setting via trueplay. It's nice if Sonos add fast switch between spatial atmos sound and 2.1 audio with Era only. 5 |
