Purchased for older parents watches because they are used to the old way of buckling their watches on.

Over the years I have used both original APC and aftermarket replacement batteries for my UPS's (all APC). I have finally learned my lesson and am going just with APC replacement batteries, as the others are too erratic re lifespan, and APC's price is reasonalble and they ship promptly. You also know you got the correct battery, not one that is made for several model APC's, etc.

Hey it's only a battery but if you want to guarantee proper performance with your camera I prefer to use the Panansonic OEM Battery. Over the years I have tried the less expensive third party batteries on various cameras and asccessories but in the end it was a mistake, anywhere from improper fit-too tight making it difficult to remove, overheating and not lasting very long over a short period of use. Yes, this BLF19 is more expensive than the third party ones that are available but in the long run it's worth the extra cost. Charge time is fast, battery life is long and it works without issues. I bought this for my new Lumix G-9 Battery Grip and it works flawlessly. I read on several forums the problems some have had trying to use the cheaper third party batteries in the G-9 Battery Grip, from it not keeping a charge to not working at all in the Grip. I have an expensive camera and equally expensive Grip, why do I want to be cheap when it comes to an essential part of my system. Over time those cheaper batteries aren't worth the hassle. But it's your choice.

Over the years I've purchased many Watson batteries for different cameras and have been pleased with their performance, never experiencing a failure to charge or hold its charge or leakage. There are 2 versions of this battery size, the other a slightly smaller mAh capacity and a few dollars cheaper, but I prefer this one that approaches the Panasonic battery in capacity.

Over the years I have used large and small APC UPS products with 'zero' issues. The batteries have a good long life and can be replaced. Basic power strips, don't do it! APC - without question!
