I purchased this Table Box Cover as a solution in routing a CAT5 cable from the basement to the first floor. It worked perfectly. The device is of high quality and looks great. I would definitely purchase another one in the future if I should ever need to do something similar. Highly recommended.

Recently bought a new home (built in 2009) that is 3 stories with roughly 1100 sq ft per floor. The lower level/basement isn't finished, so I generally don't need coverage in that area. I bought one of these to cover a majority of my home and it did just the trick. This was better than any other AP I'v purchased and coverage was phenomenal. Even with the AP ceiling-mounted just inside the stairwell that goes down to the basement, I had full coverage in the home. I was able to get 5GHz coverage in most of the first floor and the AP was great at switching clients down to 2.4GHz when the 5GHz coverage dropped. When back near the AP, within a minute or so, clients would hop back to 5GHz. I was able to get 2.4GHz coverage all throughout my property and slightly down the street. The customization for the guest network was great with the splash page as well as speed throttling. Coupling this with the great Unifi app, I highly recommend this AP if building out a Unifi network.

I installed this long range access point on my second floor planning on moving my current access point to the basement where I didn't have a signal. Using this long range access point I found that I didn't need the other access point in the basement.

My new Brother was a pretty easy set up and is working great on our first floor with our WiFi in the basement. Most importantly I can print from my computer on the second floor. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks Bro

Love being able to check the temperature in the basement against our thermostat on the main floor. We also have a sensor upstairs in the baby’s room so we can adjust the house temperature based on his room during very cold or very hot days.

I was using a Google TP-Link Hub, which worked great for about 6 years. But, my home internet speed from the ISP had increased a lot so I was wondering if newer technology would help my speed. It did, which is not surprising going from one router to a mesh network. My results were: Before. / After Mps, download only. 200 / 220. 1 foot away 100 / 190. Through basement floor ~ 30 feet. 9 / 160. Through basement floor, and a wall or two. ~ 50 feet. The ease of setup was good. I messed up the first time and it was easy to redo it. (Error was my fault. There is no such thing as idiot proof.) The stability is good as best I can tell. My ISP is down for a little bit a few times a week. I can't tell that this is better or worse in that regard.

Had my subwoofer on a cloth mat on my hardwood floor (open beam basement ceiling underneath). Knew I needed something as the bass would cause the subwoofer to vibrate away on the floor & create additional furniture vibrations (have glass tables). This is PERFECT! Resolved the issues, it stays in place and the bass has the effect it should when watching movies in multi-channel surround sound, love it!!
