Basement Recording Studio Cheap

I have a small recording studio in my basement for which I've purchased three of these racks. The build quality is outstanding and they're relatively easy to put together. The 12U version fits perfectly under my standard 29 high desk top (with about 1 inch to spare), and the wheels are nice and sturdy with a very stable locking mechanism on the front two. I especially like the fact that the rails are integrated right into the side panels and are in both the front and rear of the rack. This makes it perfect for mounting sliding shelves which need to be attached in the rear as well. The three that I purchased all had an Auray logo embossed onto a piece of plastic and glued to the front. It would be super easy to peel off if you wanted a cleaner aesthetic. If my gear keeps multiplying, I will certainly buy another one of these.

We are a recording studio with a bar in the basement. We also have a record label and have live performances in the live room of the studio. We just built a display case to hold all our CDs from the label in the lobby. I installed an Ipod so people could listen to the cds before they purchase them and also to listen to a sample from an upcoming concert. These headphones are great. Short cord, great sound, cool retro design.

I'm an amateur photographer and have setup a simple studio in my basement. I started with some cheap cloth backdrops, but was not satisfied with them (too hard to keep the wrinkles out, etc.). This was my first purchase of background paper, but it won't be the last. Much better than cheap cloth backdrops! When I unpacked the roll it looked somewhat darker gray that what I had intended. But when I actually shot against it (i.e. once it was correctly illuminated), the shade of gray was what I thought I had ordered. So all is fine.

I own a recording studio. These are MY go to headphones. The clients always want to use MY headphones rather than the stock (cheap) ones I have available because they say they're more comfortable AND sound better. I have the cheap ones 'cause clients always drop/break/step on them..... I should charge more and GIVE them a pair of HD280's when the session is done!

I bought this camera stand to support my studio. It's the right height for a basement studio and fits perfectly with my flow. Smooth transitions when moving vertically or horizontally. Locks down to the floor perfectly. Additionally, it really complements my studio and my clients always ask about it when they see it. I also bought the laptop platform and swivel.. In my option, if you tether either wired or wirelessly, this is a winning combination.. Absolutely love this stand.
