Bash Weather Underground

whoever feels the need to bash this product because of a so called spring, that they feel is in it; doesn't seem to be interested in talking about the functionality of this fluid head; i have another fluid head that i purchased for B&H that cost me around $150; for what i am doing with my FX3, this item goes great with my monopod; it's like a perfect combination; its lightweight, sturdy and all that i hoped it would be and more; so, if anyone tells you that they don't like it because of a spring being in it (and you know what, if there is so what); then they aren't truly interested in letting people know if this will work for them or not anyone who is doing video with a camera like the Sony FX3, or other mirrorless cameras, if your intent to purchase this product for mobile filming applications then you four the right one! 5 |

Bought 2 to protect the L quality lenses on Canon 18x50 IS binoculars which are rain-proof and rubber-armored. In a salt spray environment, I did not want to be cleaning exposed, multi-coated L quality objectives. The filters claim to be water repellant and scratch resistent. They do stand out 3 mm in front of the rubber armor, so be careful not to bash the binocs around. These High Density filters claim to have 4x tensile strength of regular filter glass, so less likely to break if incurring a minor bash. If you have Canon 15 or 18x50 IS binocs, be sure to buy 2 Tamron 58 mm lens caps. They work perfectly and are essential. 5 |

I'm not going to bash the item because it works perfect. The thing is the diffusion dome for the FJ80 and the FJ200 are the exact same item yet they are priced differently. I bought both not realizing this and was charged almost 40% more for the FJ80 diffusion dome than I was for the fj200 one and they were a part of the same order. I'm a college photography student and money is tight so that just isn't cool. Had I known this I would have purchased two of the fj200 diffusion domes at the cheaper price and used the 2nd one for the fj80 5 |

Bought this UV filter to protect the front lens of my Canon 100 - 400 mm lens. Tiffen filters have never let me down. Better to bash a filter that can be replaced for twenty or so dollars than to bash the front of my lens. 5 |

Quality of the product in the hands looks good. Can't bash the product for what I was hoping it would do. What I want is to have 2 1/8 mics plug into my camera and have the audio be separate channels and then split them in post. I did not read to deeply into this to see that it cant do that. My fault. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |
