I use these to support backboard remote cameras when I'm covering basketball games. They are rock-solid, and pretty much the industry standard. I normally use two at a time, one with the camera bracket and another with a superclamp on each end for additional support. 5 |

We are budget-minded, but wanted a camera capable of filming basketball games. Excellent picture quality and sound. Even in the auto mode, camera does a good job of following the fast action, without much blur in transition. Unless you really want to step up in price, this camera will suit your needs as a parent filming kids sports. Have not had time to experiment with other modes at this point, but if they are anything like auto mode, I will be thrilled! 5 |

Was looking for a setup for video for basketball games. First tripod I got had a terrible release system. Second tripod had a clunky pan. So i visited B&H in person and went to tripods upstairs and they guided me to this tripod and head. The pan on this is wonderfully smooth. And the quick release is gorgeous. Quick release is metal. After the plate is fastened to your camera, the mechanism takes a split second to mount. And a split second to remove. Very happy with purchase. It's got some weigh to it, for sure. But i wanted sturdy. And this is great. 5 |
