I'm getting crystal clear basketball game images. Very pleased! 5 |

I bought this lens for baseball and football photos of my son. I tried it out during a basketball game and was pleasantly surprised at how the pictures turned out. I also bought an 85mm f1.8 and ended up returning it because I thought this lens took better basketball photos. It's also great for portraits and stills. Great lens! 5 |

Mounted this on my FX6, was on the move for a couple of hours during a basketball game. Stayed on and balanced perfectly on the top handle. 5 |

I burn a lot of game discs for a basketball team. These sleeves work fine for giving the discs to the coaches and players. 5 |

This may not be the most useful review as I have only used the arm once, but it did very well. I mounted the arm behind a backboard for a college basketball game in New Mexico and it didn't budge at all. I had one of my 5d mark III's with the battery grip and a 15mm fisheye mounted on it and it put up with the weight of it just fine even through multiple dunks, warm-ups, and players colliding with the goal. No complaints so far, will be using it again many times this season and so far I trust it to continue getting the job done. 5 |

A SHARP prime lens. I my first test was a basketball game with a Canon 5D MK IV and 7D MkII. Amazing sharp images. 5 |

...what a great lens. I shot a high school basketball game the other night. I was concerned about the crackerbox size of the gym. It was the first time I had used it and the pics turned out stunning. Crisp on the subject with the background blur that's os typical of great sports pics. It's worth every nickel I put into it. Best if using a monopod or tripod. It's a little heavy. 5 |

I shoot sports, senior pictures, weddings and events. I have had a 1DX II, EOS R in the past and currently own both the R6 and the R6II. I just shot my first basketball game last Friday with my two R6 cameras. Just a quick first thought on the R6 vs the R6II... The R6II has the most amazing autofocus shared from the R3 even surpassing the R6 for sports. I used the R6II with electronic shutter @ 20 frames a sec selection. Both the R6 and the R6II have the 20 frame rate but the II adds the 40 (too much for basketball and a very slow rate - too slow for sports. The quality of the pictures with electronic shutter on the R6II feels equal to the R6 using the mechanical shutter. I was always slightly disappointed in the electronic shutter on the R6 with slightly soft pics. As a test, I shot a good portion of the game with the EF 85mm f1.4 IS shooting at f1.8. The 85mm is a portrait lens right? Who would ever shoot a portrait lens for a fast moving game like basketball? Not only did the R6II nail focus with fast moving players, the pictures it produced were brilliant even with the electronic shutter. Highly recommend this camera! 5 |
