Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance. 5 |

I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels. 5 |

This purchase replaced two of my 5 MKH8050's that went missing. They are great mics that there was no question I needed to replace. The Sennheiser MKH8050 (hypercardiod),and the other MKH mics, have a very smooth on and off-axis frequency response, are very quiet, and being RF condensers ( unlike almost all other condensers) are not affected by very humid conditions( no cracking/popping). I've used the MKH8050 on almost every instrument you can think off with outstanding sound: eg kick drum, bass/guitar amp, brass, woodwinds. acoustic guitar, banjo, violin/viola/cello/bass, kalimba, sitar, drum overhead, tabla, djembe, cajon, choir, classical style vocals ( mic'ed from few feet distance). Great for live sound and live recording. Rycote INV-3 are perfect shockmount clips to use with the 8050 ( and the 8040, 8020, 8090). I don't bother with the standard clips-esp. since the mics and the INV-3 shockmounts are very small and this is a bonus for video work. I don't do boom work but many write that this mic is one of the go-to choices for boom mics (esp indoors where off-axis pickup needs to be smooth). 5 |

Ive been used to record guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, vocals in my studio and the sound its always great, warm and fat in all situations. I really like to have a Tube Preamp with EQ and Compressor, I can setup the whole tone using this avalon. 5 |

I hsd s guitar track thzt didn't sound so great before going to mix, so I bought this to run my DI signal out of my bosrd to my guitar amp, and I was able to take the time to dial up and record a guitar tone that now works for the song! I also did the same with a bass track, also ending up with a better tone. I couldn't be happier with the results. Check your newly recorded audio waveforms against the original DI track to compensate for latency (not caused by the RDB). I haven't used it as a passive DI, but will eventually find a use with my active bass! 5 |

The Ibanez SR 300E is an awesome bass guitar. The quality and sound of this guitar is great for the price. The SR 300 E gives you great flexibility of playing the sound you looking for with the tone, balance, and equalizer controls. B&H had this guitar for way lower than any other online retailer along with free gig bag. B&H is my number one choice for all my electronic and optical needs. 5 |

I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!! I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar. I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there. I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150. When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band. When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine. I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums. I also put the guitar and and a little bass guitar through the speakers. These speakers put out some surprising volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business. 5 |

I purchased the HA-RX700 for my ham radio station, but ended up using them with my stereo on a regular basis. Very comfortable, extremely durable, and attractive - with an excellent, well-balanced sound signature. Bass is solid and punchy, without booming or overwhelming higher frequencies. Mid-range is all present and accounted for, it's all there. Treble sounds are clear and crisp, with no harsh sibilance. I play acoustic guitar, and electric guitar and bass - so I want my record collection to sound realistic. Guitars voices sound right. Cymbals sizzle and triangles ping as they should. Bass lines sound right - deep, full, but not booming or thick. These are well made, durable, and good sounding cans that compare favorably with other models costing much more. While they do not sound exactly the same, I consider them serious competition for my AudioTechnica ATH-M50, and similarly priced cans from AKG, Sennheiser, and Shure. YOU might prefer one of these other products, but you won't get anything sounding this good from those companies for the price of these cans. At least, that is just MY take . . . your mileage may vary. Good luck with YOUR buying decision. I am pleased with this transaction. Oh... almost forgot to mention B&H shipped them quickly and safely in practically no time. Count me a happy camper. JHR 5 |
