Having been a loyal user of Shockz products since 2019, particularly the AfterShockz Aeropex, I've experienced first-hand the evolution of open-ear headphone technology. My journey with Shockz has been mostly positive, but not without its quirks. With the older models, like the Aeropex, I noticed a peculiar sensation when cranking up the volume - a tickling feeling at the contact points that was sometimes distracting. Additionally, as someone who appreciates a rich audio experience, the bass in these earlier models left me wanting more. Enter the OpenFit Open Ear Headphones - the latest offering that I've been using for the last couple of weeks. These headphones are not just an upgrade; they're a complete overhaul of my auditory experience. The tickling sensation at high volumes? Completely gone, allowing me to enjoy my music at any level without discomfort. And the bass - it's like a whole new world. The depth and richness of the bass in the OpenFit headphones have entirely satisfied my cravings for a fuller sound. In summary, the OpenFit Open Ear Headphones have addressed and resolved all the minor grievances I had with the previous generation. They have significantly enhanced my daily audio experience, making them a stellar choice for anyone looking to step up their open-ear headphone game. Verdict: Fully Satisfied - A Stellar Leap in Open-Ear Headphone Technology 5 |

Calls are clear, bass is not as strong as in ear headphones. All in all, they’re great for working outside. 5 |

I just purchased a pair of these for my son who started producing EDM over the past couple years. I've owned Events, JBL's and have also used a number of other studio monitors (Yamaha, KRK, Mackie). Currently I own Focal CMS65's. These Fluid Audio's hold up very well. I haven't spent a ton of time in front of them, but so far I'm extremely impressed. Side-by-side my Focal's, the high end was virtually indistinguishable. Since the Fluid's have a larger low end driver, they produce noticeably more bass. The bass sounds pretty tight and solid for an 8 driver. The build seems solid... they don't feel cheap and they have plenty of power. If anyone is looking for budget monitors under $700... or even $1000, you owe it to yourself to audition these. I don't think there's much, if anything, that can compete in their price range. Considering the price, quality, and sound, my early rating is 5 stars. Haven't found anything to complain about beyond a lack of frequency tuning... but I haven't found that to be a big deal if you're in a halfway decent/treated room. 5 |

The Senal SMH-1000-MK2is lightweight, the cushiony ear pads and headband should fit confortably to everyone. I like the fact that the bottom headband side that touches my head is made of leather / leatherette, which is easy to clean with a mild detergent or 50% (max solution) alchohol with a soft cloth, rather than the headphones that are made of a mesh material which accumulates dirt and body stuff. Additionally, I recommend buying disposable headband and ear pad protectors such as the Auray Disposable Over-Ear Headphone Covers (50 Pairs, Black) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1585973-REG/auray_hpc_45bk_disposable_headphone_cover_4_5.html for the ultimate in hygiene thus keeping that letter finish from deteriorating due to skin oils. Once I tried it, I can't go back. I love having those disposable pads on every single headphone I own! They also make in white. Performance: This headphone is excellent for critical listening for music and audio monitoring for video production. It has sufficient treble and the mid range boost vocals slightly and gently, just the right amount which is desired, thus maintaining the midrange mild, not piercing. I tested this headphone listening to Metal, Techno, Classical and HipHop. It provides the adequate amount of bass in a way the studio meant to be heard, balancing all frequencies as a whole. If you're a bass head looking for bass shattering headphones, where 99% of BASS is all that matters before the actual rest of the music, this is not the product for you. Volume: With the impedance of 64 Ohms, even on a MacBook Air, it is loud enough. About 90db, which is loud enough . If you want louder, it will depend on the equipment you are using. Therefore, I'm pleased with this headphone. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]. 5 |
