Bass Synth Keyboard

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation.

I'd been using basses in Logic Pro X and they were OK but ModoBass is a MUCH more realistic bass synth. I love it that, as good as it is, it still has a very small "footprint." Excellent!

This synth is versatile as any I've worked with thus far. Tender little twinkles, robust booming bass, shimmering pads, leads that can tear a hole though space and time, and thick atmospheres. Make sure to train your ears beforehand because if you aren't careful it'll blast them off. The filters are so flexible that I sometimes let it go too far and it can squeal like a pig. I cannot wait to put this through some extra outboard filtering and processing and let it's mischievous timbre meander a bit.

I bought a Moog Subsequent 25 synth to see how I liked it. I am a guitar/bass player who enjoy playing classic and progressive rock like Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, etc. I really wanted something that I could use to get the tones for those earlier Rush albums. After playing the Subsequent 25 and loving it, I decided to get a Subsequent 37 as I needed at least one more octave for certain songs. It did not disappoint. There are way more presets on the Subsequent 37 and most are great as is. Well worth it.

The budding keyboard player and his brother jerry-rigged the synth to key board, a previously donated amp and varied effect pedals to drive their parents crazy...what are grandpas for? Theyre both 7 years old. Though they take lessons, this has encouraged them to explore in an unstructured context. I expect to continue to supply teenage engineering products as long as the passion lasts.

I got this workstation to be able to have both my computer keyboard and my synth in front of me when producing, and it does a fantastic job at that. I don't even use the keyboard tray for the keyboard as I find it a bit too low for me so I just use it as extra storage, but the fact there's an upper platform for the screen and such gives me SO MUCH ROOM that I can put both the synth and the computer keyboard in front of me on the main surface. The upper platform is pretty big as well, I can easily fit my 23 screen as well as 2 studio monitors. I was worried it would be a bit cramped there but it's not! And it's pretty deep as well so I still have plenty of room on the top platform to put random stuff there if I need to. I like that there is two possible positions for the upper platform (closer or further back). I put it closer to me because I'm in a pretty small space, but if you have the room, you can put it further back so it opens up a bit more the main surface. It was pretty straightforward to build, only the keyboard tray required me to think a bit but the rest was dead simple. I really like the color, I find that it looks even better in real life than on the photo. Lastly, it shipped and arrived super fast even though it ships from the US (for free!) and I'm in Canada, so that was a great surprise!

Keyboard is shrunken but playable synth-action with velocity and after-touch to work out your music. The 64-step, 8-note sequencer lets you do some complicated things already, not just dance beats. It’s sturdy built and stays put nicely. Knobs and pads are firm to touch. Actually got the BeatStep first but realized that’s more for DJ’s. Thought I’d miss the knobs but I play with one hand and the other using the mouse works fine to tweak the sound. The sequencer here also excels, worth it alone. Merchandise exchange with B&H no problem, thanks. Quality product, check it out if it works for you.

Short and sweet. Needed a short midi cable to connect my keyboard to a little Tetra synth box that sit on top of my organ. This cable works out nice. Can place the synth box anywhere on my keyboard and don't have 6 feet of excess wire dangling around waiting for someone to trip over. Wires and cables are spaghettified already didn't want to add to the mess with another long cable. Thanks B&H.

I have this set up for gigs (keyboard, synth, amplifier, and cables/accessories) and the wheels make it a breeze

This is a deceptive little synth, it is not a toy and can be used in a Musicians rig, but it's main short coming is the touch keyboard, so if you got a Midi keyboard, use it (Note: you will need a Type A 1/8 Midi adapter cable to utilize the midi capability) the Korg software is pretty good to access the deeper functions, but the sound is the big deal here, it sounds beefy & the built in effects are top notch, and with full midi support you will be using this with your DAW, drum machines etc. it is fun and easy to put together, really worth the price.
