Baton Rouge School Supply List

This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides.

Works great on my Rouge Flashbender. Makes for a great mini softbox.

This battery handle gives an already flexible light even more versatility. Im so pleased with this addition to my kit. I have the 34-inch Baton and, while I didnt do any empirical tests, I feel like Im able to get about an hour of full power draw from the handle. I love just about everything about this add-on. Its easy to charge, easy to access the battery indicator (although a numbered percentage read-out would make it even better) and lightweight enough to wield for long shoots. This is a must-have for Baton owners.

I didn't really know what to expect from this light other than it came with my purchase of the baton 2. I was completely blown away by how powerful the beam was for the tiny size of the light.

Wanted to pick up a light that would have a little higher run time than the Baton 3 I carry every day. Love the size and the magnetic charging. The texture of the handle is, in my opinion, the nicest feeling of any light I own. The brightness settings are spaced far enough apart that it's been a very usable tool in every situation I've called upon it. If you're looking for an 18650 light and don't mind not having a tail switch, then I would confidently recommend this light for your consideration.

This is the exact product we needed for some movers on a baton. This product makes it super easy for us to power everything on and off. Highly recommend!

In my opinion the Genaray BATON-BAT Battery is a must have item if you own or are considering the SpectroLED Baton and not just because it allows you to hold it like a light saber.  I’ve had the SpectroLED for a few weeks and have only used it wired once.  That’s because the Baton-Bat has given me enough freedom and “juice” to use the light without having to tap into wall power. The unit has a solid build to it, and seems purposely designed to make your LED into a handheld tool.  Incased in metal, it does have some weight to it, but nothing that makes the entire system unmanageable by you or your assistant.  I love the fact that it has a screw thread on the bottom of it, to expand your mounting options on set. The description says you can get 60-minutes of use out of it on a full charge when using it with the Baton-34, but I’m guessing that is only if you are using the light at 100% power.  In my highly non-scientific tests, I’ve gotten about 2 hours on my Baton-34, but then again I have never used the light on full power for any of the shoots I’ve been on.  My results may be the exception and not the rule. My only gripe with the battery is the LED power indicator.  My personal preference would have been a numerical readout of the power usage rather than the standard LED power indicator.  This has nothing to do with the battery, and everything to do with me being nit-picky. All and all this battery seems almost like a necessity for this LED lighting system.  It allows so much more creative freedom from a light that’s already very versatile.  *Slow Clap, High Five* [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

Love it and it fits great in my Rouge 9l Sling from Wandrd. Wish it came in other colors.
