Batteries Compatible With Cr2032

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

The battery adapter arrived quickly. I keep it in my kit for when other's gear isn't compatible with my batteries.

For the money we wasted on knock offs and 'compatible' batteries, we could have bought a few of these and saved ourselves the grief.

I've been using one of these as a spare for a couple of Nikon Coolpix cameras for at least 2 years. Have also used Power2000 compatible batteries in Canon cameras. They work as well or better than the OEMs, for a lot less. Getting ready to order another for the Coolpix soon!

I bought this so that when I upgrade to an 80D I'll have a compatible battery grip. Yesterday I did a 75 min shoot without having to change the battery. Didn't even have to think about it. Worked fine. Buttons are right where you'd expect them to be. On/of switch, of course. Prevents accidental triggering. There is a little place to store the camera's battery lid so that you won't lose it. Comes with two sleeves - one for Canon batteries and one for AA. Very sturdy and solid, but heavy - adds about a pound with the batteries in it, so I may not use it for wildlife/hiking. But well worth the price. Should have bought it two years ago.

If you use sony cameras then get the sony batteries. They're are more reliable and completely compatible with the cameras. The batter life is good considering mirrorless cameras drain fast.
