I was asked by Coast to review the ZX AA battery as a field tester. Coast sent me a package that contained 4 AA batteries as well as a charger. The instructions advised to charge the batteries prior to using. The charger is capable of charging 1-4 batteries at a time. The batteries have a USB-C charging slot so it was easy to connect the charger and start that process. The power source end of the charger cleverly is able to be plugged into a USB-A or USB-C adapter. The batteries were fully "recharged" in about 20 minutes. There is an indicator light on each battery for the status of the charging process. I tested 2 batteries in one of my many Coast flashlights. The batteries provided power for just over 4 hours before needing to be recharged. There was no change in brightness of light while the flashlight was on. The recharging process took about 30 minutes. If you are looking for AA rechargeable batteries, these are a nice choice!

I received it a few days ago and have recharged a couple of Fujifilm and Nikon batteries. Very satisfied so far. Charge level indicator is an excellent feature, eliminates the guessing of how far along the charging process the batteries are.

went to east africa for 3 weeks - this item performed TOP SHELF took 10 batteries on safari and every night plugged the 3 watson chargers in and recharged all dead batteries( usaully 4 to 6 a day). mostly doing videos with a few snap shots. most batteries totally recharged within 2 hours, i used 3 different brands of batteries, with no difficulties. handles 110 volt to 240 volts using no adapters. Totally awesome product!

Needed a good light for the truck, I replaced my Fury P3X as it eats batteries and this can be recharged in the vehicle via a micro USB with the new batteries (sold separate). Keep a spare fully charged. The light output is slightly higher than the P3X which is already impressive.

This is the fastest AA charger I've ever had the pleasure of using. It recharged all four batteries in four hours. Great thing to have especially if power outages are an issue.
