Battery Backup Surge Protector For Under The Couch

My APC 1500 surge protector with battery backup went defective. Self check test showed battery failure. Rather than replacing the entire expensive backup, I merely ordered this #124 replacement battery and replaced the original one for allot less cost. It now works good as new. Simply, side the old battery out and slide in the new one and that's it. I did not know replacement APC batteries were available until re-reading the APC instructions and by APC web site research.

This is the best battery backup/surge protector I've ever owned. APC seems to thought of everything you could want to know or do with this machine and provided it in a very easy to understand, easy to use way. It is worth the money.

Replaced my 10+ years old battery inside my surge protector and power backup APC unit. It works great. Primarily helps keep my internet modem running during power outages. Just needed a fresh battery in it and I'm sure it'll keep running another 10 years. Reliable product that does its job. And I don't even have to think about it. Great product!

I had a different unit that served as a surge protector and battery backup for my security cameras. After a few years, the other units battery became faulty and it constantly beeped. It had a rather unique battery that was quite costly. I searched around and found this current unit from BH and it was just what I needed at a much better value. Not only did I get a better product, but I also got it for a better value than just replacing a battery on an older unit. This unit is Compact, and also has a digital readout. It is also aesthetically appealing to the eyes. If I ever need another product like this, BH is definitely the place that I will get it from. I needed a second surge protector as the amount of disk storage needed for local backup of my photography and video portfolio has grown over time. Making sure all of your computer gear and years of work are properly protected is essential and something that most people seem to overlook.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.
