Battery Casing For Watch Batteries

The Core SWX Nanox V150 is an extremely well designed in a sturdy compact casing. I purchased these batteries specifically for my Sony FX 6 and at times use them for my Aperture 60D light fixtures. The batteries have outstanding longevity.

I use the Rode NTG-2 mounted on my camera or on a mic stand to gather actors voices, and location sound. I like the directionality of the NTG-2. The sound is very warm even at 40 ft. The only concern I have is that the supplied windscreen isn't enough for even small gusts of wind. I would recommend the Rode Dead Cat for the NTG-2. Also to turn on the microphone you have to unscrew the battery casing and then insert the battery and screw the casing back on so it takes 20-30 sec to turn On.

Easy to install, no fuss. All you need to do is install the provided battery in the mouse casing, plug the USB remote sensor in the monitor or CPU, and push the button underneath the mouse in the on position. The effortless gliding movement is surprising but you quickly get used to it. There is nothing bad to say about this product, it's 5 stars, period.

I had to watch a few Youtube clips to figure out the remote and technique and workflow for good time lapses. Overall its a simple easy to use set up well made rail and I am happy with it. My only annoyance is some of the settings have to be redone if you power off . Example if you forget to reset the start stop positions and don't watch it complete the sequence you find it tying to drive though the end stop with the belt slipping and if its not switched of damage to the pulley and belt. It really should loose 1 star for that. They do have a spare belt included. A pleasant surprise is the battery life is great and the batteries a common fitting so I can use Sony style batteries from my LED light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put the batteries in and were able to watch TV no set up required we love it! It was nicely packaged using non plastic wrap around the remote very impressive. My 4 yr old granddaughter's using it now.
