Battery Compatibility Cr2032

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

Compared to 2 alternative batteries for my OMD camera bodies, I have to recommend the original Olympus BLN-1 battery...to be 100% sure of the compatibility as well as the life and fit. Wasabi's batteries and charger are both convenient and in my experience reliable, though shorter lived than the original Oly's. The Kastar alternative battery even better, but upon delivery was obviously a risk and an inconvenience, due to the slight oversize dimensions that cause it not to slide in....and out...easily. Fearing it may need to be pried out somehow and not wanting to force it all the way in; I decided to return them immediately. For full run on a charge and insured compatibility, I'd say pay up for an Olympus OEM.

Canon original product, great compatibility, not much to say. For the occasional hobbyist it is a good battery, obviously a little on the smaller side it is used in the m60 and m50 if I am not mistaken

You cant beat NewerTech on price and compatibility. After recently discovering an old Mac laptop Id set aside, I found its battery would no longer take a charge. B&H had a great price on this replacement, so Ive been able to quickly get the laptop up and running again. Not really a complaint but, unlike Apples original, the NewerTech battery had a very tight fit so I had to work at seating it fully. Other than that, it matches and functions perfectly.

Nikon quality and compatibility is worth it.
